ITS Campus, ITS News<\/strong> \u2013 Before the implementation of the 2021 PTN (state universities) Entrance Selection, the National Center Test for University Admissions (LTMPT) has released a schedule of the State University National Admission Selection (SNMPTN) and State University Joint Entrance Test (UTBK \u2013 SBMPTN), Last Monday (4\/1). As one of the well-known universities that will be target a lot of students, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has prepared socialization activities for schools.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dr. Eng Siti Machmudah ST MEng, ITS\u00a0 Director of\u00a0 Education explained, the State University entrance selection system this year is the same as in previous years. There are three lines opened, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and Mandiri. “If the exam path remains like last year, that is through the three exam paths,” said this lecturer familiarly called Machmudah.<\/span><\/p>\n

But different from previous years, PTN (State Universities) entrance selection system this year is not only for undergraduate study program (S1). ” But also for applied undergraduate study programs (D4),” she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although all information can be accessed at the LTMPT site, she said, it is still necessary to socialize by the PTN to the schools. Therefore, ITS also plans to conduct online socialization to counseling teachers (BK) and high school students (SMA) or equivalent shortly soon. “Through this socialization, it is hoped that teachers and students will understand more about how to register and select study programs,” explained the lecturer of the ITS Chemical Engineering Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides online socialization, ITS will also prepare room for the implementation of UTBK tests that become an assessment for the SBMPTN line. “For UTBK, the first batch will be held on April 12-18, 2021 and the second batch will be held on April 26-May 2, 2021,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

For UTBK material, She mentioned that UTBK test material will be the same as in 2019. “The difference with 2020 is that there will only be TPS, this year there will be TPS and TKA, and there are science technology, socio-humanities, and mixed options,” she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the interview, Machmudah hoped that the entrance selection process for this year can go well even in the middle of the pandemic. She also advised students and Counseling teachers to update with the announcement on the LTMPT site.
