Menyikapi hal tersebut, Direktur Jenderal (Dirjen) Perhubungan Laut, Ir R Agus H Purnomo MM menyatakan jika negara ini perlu menggencarkan penerapan teknologi pada sektor maritim. Dalam kuliahnya, ia menyebutkan bahwa implementasi teknologi memegang peran penting untuk pengelolaan potensi bahari.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Agus, sapaan akrabnya, mengatakan jika laut Indonesia memiliki tiga potensi besar yang dapat dikelola. Hal ini terbukti dengan data hasil persebaran Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) maritim yang didominasi dari wilayah timur Indonesia seperti Surabaya. \u201cMelihat contoh ini, perlu kesiapan infrastruktur laut yang mampu menyokong besarnya potensi bahari yang ada,\u201d imbuhnya antusias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam kacamatanya, Agus berpendapat bahwa implementasi teknologi menjadi salah satu langkah utama guna mendukung efisiensi automasi penyaluran logistik dan transportasi bahari. Tidak hanya itu, eksistensi teknologi dalam praktik lapangan dapat mengembangkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) menjadi lebih unggul lagi. \u201cImplementasi ini sendiri merupakan wujud adaptasi revolusi industri 4.0 di sektor bahari,\u201d sebut anggota Ikatan Alumni (IKA) ITS ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam pemaparannya di rangkaian acara Hari Nusantara ini, Kamis (10\/12), Agus menyebutkan jika tren teknologi sudah mulai diterapkan di maritim Indonesia. Di hadapan sivitas akademika ITS, ia menyontohkan beberapa produk seperti kapal tanpa awak dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">chat bot<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang dapat memandu pelayaran. \u201cSelain itu, terdapat pula <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drone<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> untuk memudahkan proses inspeksi kapal serta robot pemeliharaan kapal dan struktur laut lainnya,\u201d paparnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ke depannya, Agus berharap agar teknologi-teknologi tersebut dapat terus dikembangkan lagi. Selain itu, ia ingin agar implementasi teknologi dalam pengelolaan potensi bahari terus digalakkan. \u201cSaya harap, rekan-rekan mahasiswa dapat terus berinovasi agar mampu memaksimalkan potensi bahari sebaik mungkin,\u201d tutup Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) ini mengakhiri.
