{"id":4969,"date":"2006-12-30T08:15:06","date_gmt":"2006-12-30T08:15:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2006\/12\/30\/its-siap-bangun-techno-pole\/"},"modified":"2006-12-30T08:15:06","modified_gmt":"2006-12-30T08:15:06","slug":"its-siap-bangun-techno-pole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/its-siap-bangun-techno-pole\/","title":{"rendered":"ITS Siap Bangun Techno Pole"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Demikian diungkapkan Rektor ITS, Prof Dr Ir Mohammad Nuh DEA, dalam acara Refleksi Akhir Tahun yang digelar Jumat (29\/12) siang. \u201dPengembangan <em>Centre ICT<\/em> itu akan dijalankan oleh keempat anggota konsorsium perguruan tinggi Indonesia bersama-sama dengan konsorsium perguruan tinggi yang ada di Jepang dan JICA <em>(Japan International Cooperation Agency)<\/em>,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Dijelaskan Nuh, langkah berikutnya untuk mewujudkan pembangunan <em>Centre ICT <\/em>adalah mengadakan pertemuan dengan keempat perguruan tinggi bersama Diknas berkait dengan bidang-bidang yang nantinya akan dikembangkan, sehingga antara perguruan tinggi tidak saling berbenturan satu dengan lainnya. \u201dAwal Januari pekan pertama Diknas telah mengundang keempat perguruan tinggi anggota konsorsium itu,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Hanya yang lebih penting, terang Nuh, terkait dengan pembangunan <em>centre ICT <\/em>itu, akan dibuat sejalan dengan rencana ITS untuk membangun <em>techno pole <\/em>atau <em>techno park<\/em>, sebuah kawasan yang akan disiapkan ITS berkait untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian untuk bisa dimanfaatkan oleh kalangan industri atau masyarakat luas. \u201d<em>Centre ICT<\/em> itu nantinya juga akan ditempatkan dalam satu kawasan terpadu dari pusat-pusat unggulan yang dimiliki ITS. Kami telah menyiapkan lahan untuk kepentingan <em>techno pole<\/em> itu seluas 10 hektar,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam waktu dekat, katanya menjelaskan, di lahan techno pole itu akan segera dimulai pembangunan Pusat Desain dan Rekayasa Kapal, kerja sama antara ITS dengan Departemen Perindustrian. \u201dProposal pembangunan itu telah disetujui dan merupakan pengembangan dari bantuan pada laboratorium di Fakultas Teknologi Kelautan yang telah ditunjuk menjadi Pusat Desain dan Rekayasa Kapal beberapa waktu lalu,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Berapa dana untuk pembangunan Pusat Desain dan Rekayasa Kapal? Nuh menjelaskan sekitar Rp 12,7 miliar. \u201dPembangunannya segera akan dimulai pada awal tahun 2007. Sedang <em>Centre ICT<\/em> akan dilakukan dengan diawali pembuatan proposal setelah dilakukan pertemuan dengan keempat anggota konsorsium,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Nuh berharap melalui <em>techno pole<\/em>, peran ITS akan makin dirasakan bukan hanya oleh kalangan industri, yang selama ini hanya menerima para lulusannya, tapi juga oleh masyarakat umum, yang memang benar-benar membutuhkan karya-karya ITS untuk diproduksi secara massal. \u201dDalam <em>techno pole<\/em> itu nanti akan dibuat semacam <em>prototipe-prototipe <\/em>berbagai produk yang bisa dikembangkan setelah melalui serangkaian kajian pada aspek pasar, kebaruan, dan keuangan. Dengan cara ini ITS berharap bisa menjadi perguruan tinggi yang dapat memberikan kontribusi pertumbuhan bagi pembangunan bangsa,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Semua rencana itu akan dilakukan bertahap, karena memang selain membutuhkan biaya besar juga kajian mendalam terhadap pusat-pusat unggulan yang ada. \u201dPaling tidak, selain Pusat Desain dan Rekayasa Kapal dan <em>centre ICT<\/em>, juga nantinya dikembangkan pusat unggulan di bidang nano teknologi, konversi energi, pusat desain industri, lingkungan dan lainnya,\u201d katanya.
