Hal tersebut dikarenakan energi fosil tergolong energi yang tidak dapat diperbaharui sehingga ketersediaanya semakin sedikit di muka bumi. Selain itu, energi fosil juga tidak baik untuk kesehatan manusia karena menimbulkan emisi karbon dioksida (CO2).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ali berpendapat bahwa beberapa tahun kedepan kehidupan di dunia akan didominasi dengan energi terbarukan. Menurutnya, sekitar 68 persen energi terbarukan akan digunakan di masa depan. \u201cOleh karena itu energi terbarukan dapat disebut juga sebagai energi masa depan,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pakar energi terbarukan ini menyebutkan beberapa ciri dari energi masa depan. Di antaranya adalah bersih dan juga efisien. Maksudnya, energi masa depan tidak boleh menimbulkan polusi sekaligus mudah diperoleh. \u201cContohnya biomassa,\u201d tuturnya memberi contoh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ali juga menjelaskan, energi terbarukan sangat penting keberadaanya untuk masa depan. Hal tersebut lantaran banyaknya kebutuhan energi yang diperlukan dalam bidang transportasi dan juga industri. \u201cKarena sangat tidak memungkinkan jika terus bergantung kepada energi fosil,\u201d jelasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dosen Departemen Teknik Fisika ini memaparkan, saat ini negara Indonesia telah melakukan beberapa tindakan dalam menyikapi energi terbarukan di masa depan. Di antaranya adalah adanya peraturan Undang-Undang (UU) nomor 30 tahun 2007. Selain itu, semenjak tahun 2019 seluruh pemerintah provinsi diwajibkan untuk mendata semua energi yang ada di daerahnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Mulai dari data energi yang dimiliki hingga data energi yang dipakai dalam berbagai sektor,&#8221; imbuh Ali.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ali berpendapat bahwa Indonesia memiliki potensi luar biasa dalam hal energi terbarukan ini. Seperti energi surya, hidro, panas bumi, dan biomassa. Tidak hanya itu, Indonesia juga telah menemukan bahan bakar bensin yang berasal dari sawit. \u201cMelihat hal tersebut, saya yakin Indonesia dapat memenuhi kebutuhan energi masa depan,\u201d tuturnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menurutnya, peluang kemajuan Indonesia di masa depan terletak pada energi. Berbisnis dengan peluang paling besar juga bisnis energi. Oleh karena itu, Ali berharap para mahasiswa dapat mengambil peran besar dalam berinovasi tentang energi. \u201cJadi marilah sama-sama kita menciptakan inovasi energi terbarukan untuk Indonesia kedepan,\u201d tandasnya.
