Feroresonansi sendiri dicirikan dengan adanya overvoltage dan ketidaksesuaian bentuk gelombang. \u201cDari ketidaksesuaian bentuk gelombang tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi empat jenis yang berbeda,\u201d terang Didit.<\/p>\n<p>Lelaki asal Singaraja tersebut menambahkan bahwa klasifikasi empat jenis ditentukan berdasarkan kondisi stabil. Hal ini dikarenakan pada kondisi transien, sulit untuk membedakan sinyal transien lainnya dengan sinyal feroresonansi. \u201cKeempat jenis feroresonansi tersebut adalah mode Fundamental, Subharmonic, Quasi-Periodik, dan Chaotic,\u201d urainya.<\/p>\n<p>Didit juga menjelaskan bahwa pada mode chaotic, karakteristik magnitude tegangan berubah-ubah. Sehingga, gelombang yang dihasilkan berbentuk nonperiodik. \u201cHal tersebut menjadikan feroresonansi mode chaotic tidak dapat diinterupsi pada frekuensi berapapun dan sulit untuk diprediksi keberadaannya,\u201d ungkap bapak dua anak tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Dosen pengampu Laboratorium Tegangan Tinggi tersebut berujar bahwa penelitian ini tidak memungkinkan untuk dilakukan langsung di lapangan, mengingat iesiko tinggi yang dapat ditimbulkan. Hal ini mendasar pada bahaya yang dapat ditimbulkan, sehingga dikonversikan ke tegangan rendah. \u201cDalam eksperimen ini digunakan trafo rendah satu fasa, komponen kapasitor seri dan shunt, serta switching sebagai komponen pemicu,\u201d tutur alumnus Institut Teknologi Bandung tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Menyoal pengolahan data hasil pengujian, Didit mengutarakan bahwa digunakan metode transformasi wavelet. Dengan ini, akan didapatkan grafik sinyal transformasi wavelet, di mana untuk setiap variasi kapasitor menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dari tinggi amplitudo gelombangnya. \u201cUntuk gelombang yang menunjukkan feroresonansi sendiri memiliki titik-titik puncak tertinggi dibandingkan gelombang lainnya,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Metode transformasi wavelet sendiri telah berhasil diuji coba pada jaringan sistem tenaga listrik di sebuah industri yang trafonya terbakar. Dengan metode tersebut, dapat dianalisis bahwa sampling yang ada menunjukkan gejala feroresonansi. \u201cMemang realitanya kejadian feroresonansi biasanya hanya terjadi pada sebuah sistem yang kompleks, seperti halnya sistem tenaga listrik dalam skala industri tersebut,\u201d terang lelaki kelahiran 23 Januari 1973 tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai tindak lanjut ke depannya, mahasiswa bimbingan Prof Dr Ir Adi Soeprijanto MT dan Dr Eng I Made Yulistya Negara ST MSc ini berharap studi penelitiannya tersebut akan berlanjut pada mitigasi feroresonansi. Didit menambahkan bahwa seperti halnya penyakit, baru pendeteksi gejala awal yang ia temukan. \u201cNantinya, akan berujung pada pengobatan dan pencegahan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya feroresonansi,\u201d pungkasnya.
