Hal tersebut dimaksudkan untuk semakin mengenalkan Departemen Teknik Elektro ITS kepada para peserta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Sabtu (8\/2).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bagas Adi Fathoni, ketua pelaksana Electra 9, mengatakan bahwa dibanding tahun sebelumnya, terdapat perbedaan mencolok pada bagian kunjungan laboratorium. Di tahun sebelumnya, kunjungan laboratorium tidak menjadi acara wajib bagi peserta. \u201cTahun ini kami melakukan beberapa inovasi, salah satunya yaitu menjadikan kunjungan laboratorium sebagai kegiatan wajib bagi peserta,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Mahasiswa yang akrab disapa Bagas ini juga menjelaskan, kunjungan laboratorium diwajibkan bagi peserta Electra 9 karena tahun ini tidak ada kunjungan ke luar seperti pelaksanaan Electra di tahun sebelumnya. \u201cDengan begitu, pengetahuan peserta tentang Departemen Teknik Elektro ITS semakin bertambah,\u201d jelasnya<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, pelaksanaan kunjungan laboratorium di Electra 9 dinilai lebih terstruktur dan lebih terencana dengan rapi. Semua peserta mendapat giliran masuk ke beberapa laboratorium di Departemen Teknik Elektro ITS. Beberapa laboratorium yang dikunjungi tersebut diantaranya adalah laboratorium konversi energi, laboratorium elektronika industri, laboratorium simulasi sistem tenaga listrik, dan masih banyak lagi.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak hanya sekedar mengenalkan macam-macam laboratorium yang ada, peserta juga diajak untuk melihat langsung beberapa alat maupun percobaan yang dilakukan di laboratorium. \u201cMereka juga mendapat penjelasan mengenai kegunaan dari alat-alat tersebut,\u201d papar mahasiswa angkatan 2017 ini.<\/p>\n<p>Dari sudut pandang peserta, Electra 9 dinilai berhasil dalam mencapai tujuan utamanya yaitu mengenalkan Departemen Teknik Elektro ITS. Hal ini disampaikan langsung oleh Ahmad Naufal, salah satu peserta Electra 9 asal SMAN 13 Surabaya. Siswa yang kerap disapa Naufal ini berpendapat, dari kunjungan tersebut ia menjadi tahu beberapa laboratorium yang ada di Departemen Teknik Elektro ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, Naufal juga menyebutkan manfaat lain yang diterimanya dari kunjungan laboratorium ini. Diantaranya yaitu peserta dapat menghitung menggunakan amperemeter, voltmeter, dan mengatasi timbulnya percikan api saat ada aliran listrik yang buruk. \u201cKami juga diberi pengetahuan mengenai cara merawat listrik yang baik dan benar,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>\n<p>Bagas berharap agar pelaksanaan Electra di tahun berikutnya tetap mempertahankan kunjungan laboratorium sebagai acara wajib bagi peserta. Kegiatan ini dinilai efektif dalam mengenalkan Departemen Teknik Elektro ITS kepada para peserta. \u201cPeserta juga sangat tertarik dan bersemangat mengikuti acara ini,\u201d pungkas mahasiswa dari Departemen Teknik Elektro ini.
