Rektor Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari menyampaikan program kerja dalam Rapat Kerja ITS tahun 2020.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Batu, ITS News \u2014 <\/b>Sambut kepengurusan organisasi anyar di tahun 2020, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) laksanakan kegiatan Rapat Kerja (Raker). Dengan mengangkat tema \u201cITS Semangat Baru, New People New Energy\u201d kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merilis langkah-langkah strategis guna meningkatkan performa dan profesionalitas institut. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Ballroom Convention Hall The Singhasari Resort, kota Batu, Jumat (7\/2) kemarin.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari membuka kegiatan ini dengan jargon khas ITS yaitu VIVAT. Lebih lanjut, Raker dilakukan guna menyusun kontrak kerja key performance indicator (KPI) dan finalisasi program kerja seluruh bidang di ITS. \u201cSehubungan dengan adanya beberapa rekan kerja yang baru dilantik pada dua Januari kemarin, mari kita saling satukan langkah untuk mencapai target,\u201d ujarnya..<\/span><\/p>\n

Dengan statusnya sebagai Perguruan Tinggi Badan Hukum (PTN-BH), ITS ingin meningkatkan performa selayaknya sebuah korporasi yang profesional. Oleh karenanya, pria yang akrab disapa Ashari ini menyampaikan tiga strategi pengembangan ITS untuk tahun 2019-2024. Ketiga hal itu berfokus pada memberikan layanan prima, menghasilkan keluaran unggul, dan mendapat reputasi terbaik.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selain itu, ITS juga akan melakukan beberapa pembangunan dalam kampusnya. Salah satu inovasi pembangunan yang dibahas dalam Raker ini adalah pembangunan Menara ITS kedua. \u201cTerkait pembangunan menara, anggaran dana sudah tersedia dan rancangan pembangunan sudah berjalan,\u201d terang rektor yang juga merupakan guru besar di Departemen Teknik Elektro ini.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tak hanya fokus pada pembangunan Menara ITS kedua, berbagai inovasi pembangunan lain juga akan dilakukan. Inovasi-inovasi tersebut meliputi pengembangan laboratorium kimia dan fisika dasar, renovasi kantin pusat, gapura akses masuk ITS di tiga lokasi berbeda, mengatur kantor inkubator startup, dan meningkatkan kelas pintar di 38 departemen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dengan anggaran dana total sekitar 100 miliar rupiah, dana sebesar 60 miliar rupiah akan dialokasikan secara khusus untuk pembangunan gedung.\u00a0 \u201cProses pembangunan akan dilakukan secepatnya,\u201d tegas dosen yang menyelesaikan pendidikan doktornya di Curtin University Australia ini.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rapat kerja yang berlangsung selama tiga hari tersebut diakhiri dengan prosesi tanda tangan kontrak. Tanda tangan kontrak ini terkait dengan salah satu langkah pengembangan ITS yakni memberikan layanan prima pay for performance, dimana performa kerja seseorang dalam organisasi akan mempengaruhi besaran yang ia dapatkan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Untuk mencapai target-target serta inovasi baru kedepan, Ashari menyampaikan bahwa diperlukan kerjasama dan kolaborasi dari semua pihak. \u201cJika target sudah ditetapkan dan semua tahu bagaimana bentuk kontribusi mereka, insya Allah semua dapat terlaksana,\u201d tutup pria asal Sidoarjo ini mengakhiri.<\/span> (rys\/qin)<\/p>\n
