ITS Campus, ITS New<\/strong>s \u2013 To improve the quality of human resources (SDM) construction services, the Faculty of Vocations Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) establish cooperation with the aBalai Penerapan Teknologi Konstruksi (PTK) Directorate General of Bina Konstruksi, Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) and PT. Estindo Rekagraha, Tuesday (26\/11).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On that occasion, the head of Construction Technology Development Division-PTK, Martalia Isneini ST ME explained, the cooperation is cooperate to facilitate the students with distance learning through knowledge services Intensive self-learning information system for construction field (SIBIMA construction).<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, continued Martalia, not only merely as a regular online certification platform, but the Innovation SIBIMA construction Ready Gapai Work (SIBIMA construction SIGAP) also target students to be ready to go to the field after graduation. “We need to quickly have a construction expert,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

With SIBIMA construction SIGAP, Balai-PTK Ministry of PUPR took the initiative to take the selected campuses to collaborate in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM). “ITS become the second campus in cooperation with the Ministry of PUPR,” Martalia explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

Agreed with Martalia, PUPR staff, Deviana also added, entering the era of digitalization and growth of information, required human resources (SDM) adaptive construction services. So that it can adapt to the development of the Times and technology “even the construction services are currently experiencing digitization,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its implementation, the Civil Infrastructure Department lecturer, Muhammad Hafiizh Imaaduddiin ST MT explained, ITS students are given a free SIBIMA training class by the Ministry of PUPR. While the provisions as participants are limited only to applied undergraduate students of the seventh semester.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hafiizh continues, in his deal, the faculty of Vocational’s are given training opportunities for eight work positions. Among them are geotechnical experts, young experts of irrigation planners, the implementation of dams, and many more. “Each job title is limited to thirty students only,” he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only that, technical lecturers in Hydrotechnic and Surveying that also added that to maximize the BIM, the Faculty of Vocational School ITS also establish cooperation with PT. Estindo Rekagraha. “This company is the official license holder of VICO vendor with BIM-based software,” continued man graduates of Departement of Civil Engineering ITS<\/span><\/p>\n

Hafiizh explained the software could be the first integrated construction management solution for a general contractor (GC) that utilizes the power of the BIM 3D model. Besides, it can be used scheduling model-based 4D and model-based estimation 5D. “Even with it can channel evaluation on research and Development (R&D),” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this, Hafiizh reveals that ITS vocational faculty be a partner of the PUPR ministry in the development and dissemination of digitization information of construction with the BIM system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hafiizh added, it is open up ITS opportunity to evolve to create graduates who are ready with the development of technology and according to the needs of the industry. “It is hoped that it can be a pillar in infrastructure development in Indonesia,” he ended. (ai\/qin\/rev)<\/span><\/p>\n
