Bertujuan mengenalkan Logika Fuzzy dan penerapannya, Departemen Teknik Elektro Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) menghelat lokakarya di Ruang AJ-201, Rabu (13\/11).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prof Laszlo T Koczy DSc, pembicara pada lokakarya ini menerangkan, Logika Fuzzy merupakan jenis logika yang memiliki nilai samar antara benar dan salah. Dalam logika ini, suatu hal bisa bernilai benar dan salah secara bersamaan. Penerapannya berkaitan dengan masalah yang mengandung unsur ketidakpastian, ketidaktepatan ataupun kekaburan. \u201cNilai keanggotaanlah yang menentukan tingkat kebenaran dan kesalahan,\u201d jelas pria yang akrab disapa Koczy ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lanjutnya, nilai keanggotaan Logika Fuzzy berada di rentang 0 hingga 1, berbeda dengan Logika Aljabar Boolean yang hanya mengenal notasi 0 dan 1, atau ya dan tidak. Dengan kata lain, Logika Fuzzy digunakan untuk menerjemahkan besaran yang diekspresikan dengan bahasa. Contohnya, jarak diekspresikan dengan dekat, agak dekat, jauh, dan sangat jauh. \u201cPada dasarnya semua itu muncul secara biologis dari otak manusia dalam mendeskripsikan sesuatu,\u201d terang Research Councils Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Koczy juga menyebutkan, seorang ilmuwan Amerika Serikat berkebangsaan Iran, Lotfi A Zadeh pada 1965 melalui teori himpunan fuzzy miliknya menjelaskan, terdapat nilai yang dapat dianalisis diantara nilai 0 dan 1. Dikarenakan adanya nilai buram ini, logika ini lebih banyak diaplikasikan di Jepang daripada Amerika Serikat. \u201cSebab kultur barat cenderung memandang persoalan hanya sebagai ya-tidak, sukses-gagal. Berbeda dengan kultur timur yang masih ada unsur abu-abu,\u201d sambung pria berpostur tinggi ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Secara konsep, menurut Koczy, Logika Fuzzy memiliki beberapa kelebihan dibanding logika lain. Penggunaan konsep matematis yang mendasari penalaran Logika Fuzzy dinilai sangat sederhana, sehingga mudah dimengerti. Selain itu, data-data yang tidak tepat tidak secara langsung dinilai, namun dianalisis lebih mendalam dengan batas toleransi tertentu, sehingga dinilai lebih fleksibel. \u201cDalam logika ini, nilai keanggotaan masing-masing diberikan secara independen dan tidak terkait satu sama lain,\u201d tutur alumnus Budapest University of Technology and Economics ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lanjut Koczy, saat ini Logika Fuzzy sudah ramai digunakan para peneliti. Mulai dari teori kendali, hingga inteligensia buatan.\u00a0 Dalam dunia engineering pun, logika ini sangat berguna untuk memberikan logika yang detail. &#8220;Seringkali analisa logika ini menghasilkan sesuatu yang mengejutkan, benar benar baru dan lebih efisien,\u201d ujarnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam penerapannya, Logika Fuzzy banyak ditemukan dalam perangkat-perangkat elektronik seperti mesin cuci atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Air Conditioner<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (AC). Secara teknis, pada mesin cuci misalnya, Logika Fuzzy digunakan pada sensor untuk mendeteksi kotoran pada pakaian. Masukan yang diperoleh berupa tingkat kekotoran, jenis kotoran, serta jumlah pakaian yang dicuci. &#8220;Nantinya, dapat ditentukan keluaran berupa jumlah putaran mesin cuci yang tepat secara otomatis,&#8221; imbuhnya.
