Kegiatan yang digagas oleh divisi keputrian Jamaah Masjid Manarul ilmi (JMMI) ITS ini merupakan rangkaian kegiatan <em>Muslimah in Action<\/em> (MIA) yang dihelat selama dua hari. Bertempat di Plasa Dr Angka, semenjak pagi hingga sore peserta dibekali dengan wawasan dan aplikasi perbengkelan, utamanya sepeda motor. Pelatihan ini mengundang komunitas labolatorium jurusan Teknik Mesin ITS. Peserta sendiri buakan hanya anggota JMMI tapi juga mahasiswa ITS pada umumnya.<\/p>\n<p>Pelatihan dibagi dalam dua sesi. Sebelum dhuhur, peserta dibekali ilmu tentang perawatan dan penyetelan motor. Peserta yang notabene kaum wanita ini ternyata interest mengikuti presentasi yang dibawakan dua orang mahasiswa Teknik Mesin ITS. Terbukti, banyak pertanyaan yang muncul. Kesederhanaan pun mewarnai training ini. Sebab, peserta duduk santai pada lesehan yang disediakan panitia di halaman Plasa. <\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan pemateri juga duduk sembari menerangkan pada papan. \u201cYang pasti gimana caranya biar busi bersih dari kotoran, kalian bisa pakai amplas tau peniti untuk membersihkannya. Yang penting, jangan keras-keras,\u201d terdengar suara salah seorang pemateri memberikan arahan kepada peserta.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah diberikan wawasan, peserta dibekali pula langsung dengan aplikasi. Dengan menggunakan sekitar empat motor peserta, rela dikorbankan untuk di\u2019preteli\u2019. Dalam praktik di lapangan, hampir sebagian besar mahasiwa komunitas labolatorium Teknik Mesin ikut berpartisipasi  untuk memberikan bimbingan. Peserta pun bisa memahami dan tak sungkan-sungkan untuk bertanya. Terbukti masih banyak pertanyaan sembari para tutor dari Teknik Mesin memperagakan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dSaya pernah melihat orang menstater dengan menutup lubang gas buangan asap sementara, apa memng nggak apa dan kenapa harus seperti itu?,\u201d celutuk Ndari, salah satu pertanyaan dari peserta. Pelatihan ini mendatangkan minat tertentu dari kaum putri, terbukti baru selesai hingga sore hari. Rencananya, besok Minggu akan pula diadakan satu dari pelatihan membuat kue atau menjahit.
