Dia adalah Budi Darmawan, PR Manager SCTV, yang memberikan wawasan &#8216;Media Relation&#8217;. <\/p>\n<p>Menurut Budi, dalam suatu perusahaan kedudukan PR sangatlah penting. \u201dPR menciptakan hubungan baik perusahaan dengan publiknya,\u201d ungkapnya. PR mempunyai posisi yang strategis karena mempunyai resiko yang banyak. \u201dJika ada sesuatu yang menyangkut perusahaannya terjadi, maka PR harus segera melakukan tindakan,\u201d tandas pria yang mengaku dekat dengan wartawan ini.<\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan produk yang dihasilkan PR cukup banyak, diantaranya berupa <em>press release, press conference, briefing, clipping interview, dan video news release<\/em>. \u201c<em>Press cliping<\/em> sangat penting, sebab tugas PR di sini menganalisa berita lalu selanjutnya sampaikan ke managemen,\u201d kata Budi. Terkadang, imbuh Budi, ciri para PR kebanyakan akan muncul saat ada prestasi atau berita baik di perusahaanya. \u201dTapi jika ada berita buruk malah menghindar dari kejaran wartawan, susah dihubungi\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>Ketika diwawancarai khusus oleh ITSOnline seusai acara, Budi pun mengungkapkan lamanya waktu 13 tahun bukanlah alasan untuk membuatnya bosan menjadi PR. \u201dKuncinya, cintai profesi anda,\u201d paparnya. Budi lalu menceritakan pengalamannya yang paling sulit ditangani selama menjadi PR. \u201dKasus inul dan Rhoma Irama, salah satunya, sebab ini melibatkan hampir managemen keseluruhan. Ya akhirnya, kami pun menyesuaikan dengan permintan masyarakat,\u201d tandasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Selanjutnya, Budi pun menyarankan kepada orang yang berminat di bidang PR untuk mendalami, salah satunya melalui sekolah khusus PR. \u201dIdealnya memang sekolah karena banyak dasar filosofi yang didapatkan di sini. Tapi belajar secara otodidak pun bisa karena PR merupakan profesi terbuka. Yang pasti modal utama adalah bicara dan menulis,\u201d pungkas budi mengakhiri wawancara.
