SMA Denpasar, Bali, masing-masing SMA Negeri 4 dan SMA Negeri 1
\nDenpasar, berhasil memborong juara I dan II Lomba Perancangan Teknologi Mekanika dalam acara Mechanical Competition yang digelar Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Mesin ITS, Senin (20\/2) siang.<\/p>\n

Siswa SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar yang berhasil meraih juara pertama terdiri atas Ridwan Salim Sanad dan Fardhady Himawan Kusomo. Lewat makalah berjudul Penerapan Teknologi Mekanika Didalam Sistem Pertanian Jagung di Indonesia, mereka berhasil mengalahkan 12 regu finalis lainnya.<\/p>\n

Juara dua juga diraih oleh SMA dari Denpasar, Bali. Kali ini direbut oleh SMA Negeri 1 yang beranggotakan Dinnar Pradita, Dwiek Putra, dan Oka Angga. Mereka membawakan makalah berjudul Pemanfaatan Pompa Hydram Eleckiss-1 dalam Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Air Masyarakat Pedesaan. Sedang juara tiga diraih oleh SMA Taruna Nusantara yang juga beranggotakan tiga siswa masing-masing Ganes Sukri Hutabarat, Narenda Utama dan Romel Pinandita dengan makalah Pemanfaatan Kincir Air Tradisional sebagai Teknologi Alternatif Alat Pemompa Air.
