ITS Campus, ITS News<\/strong> \u2013 Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) increasingly steadily stepped into World Class University (WCU) by accepting new students from the course of international class or International Undergraduate Program (IUP) on this year. Around 713 registries recorded on this IUP line, and\u00a0 496 students are accepted.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Vice-Rector I of ITS Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir Adi Soeprijanto MT said the registrant on this international class line the most selected courses of industrial engineering with the number of registries as much as 88 people. Then followed by Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, each of which there was 67 and 59 registries. Meanwhile, the fewest registrants are in the Physics Engineering department as many as 17 applicants. In addition to the impact of students, the program will also affect the improvement of the quality of staff and teaching lecturers in each department that runs the international class program. The reason is, they will use international language more often in carrying out their duties and put themselves as international staff and lecturers.<\/p>\n

The Program will also not always be taught lecturers who come from Indonesia or ITS own internal. “But at any given time, there will be lecturers from abroad who teach lectures in international classes,” said lecturer of Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Technology (FTE) ITS.<\/p>\n

From ITS itself, continued Adi, will also offer various programs abroad either in the form of a short program, student exchange, student excursion, or the other. Hopefully, from the activities carried out in the country, international students can obtain a variety of disciplines from outside countries and can bring and apply all the science that is appropriate in the country Indonesian.<\/p>\n

For applicants who have been accepted in this international class, they can re-register online from 29 \u2013 31 July 2019. until Monday (5\/8) later.
