Mulai\u00a0dari aspek sosial, politik, ekonomi, hingga budaya. Di masa orde\u00a0lama Soekarno, istilah buruh sangat akrab di telinga masyarakat. Dalam struktur pemerintahannya pun, Soekarno lebih memilih menggunakan istilah buruh dibanding pekerja.<\/p>\n<p>Dimana kementerian yang bertanggung jawab dalam bidang perburuhan disebut kementerian perburuhan.\u00a0Namun, pada masa orde baru Soeharto, istilah buruh mulai digantikan dengan istilah pekerja. Pergantian istilah ini terjadi dalam dinamika perkembangan serikat buruh di Indonesia. Pada tahun 1985, Kongres II Federasi Buruh Seluruh Indonesia (FBSI) kemudian berubah nama menjadi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (SPSI)<\/p>\n<p>Buruh dalam KBBI, adalah orang yang bekerja untuk orang lain dengan mendapatkan upah. Dalam tulisan opini ini, saya akan sedikit mengulik eksistensi buruh dalam lingkup pendidikan. Pendidikan adalah senjata yang ampuh dan dapat mengubah dunia. Tanpa adanya pendidikan, kemajuan bangsa Indonesia tak sampai seperti ini. Guru adalah orang yang memegang <em>role model<\/em> dalam pendidikan. Mereka sebagai buruh juga mengabdi. Namun, apakah guru honorer masih layak dianggap sebagai pekerja jikalau gaji yang diterimanya sedikit dan tidak sesuai dengan porsi kerjanya. Padahal ada sebuah peraturan yang menegaskan bahwa buruh berhak memperoleh penghasilan yang memenuhi penghidupan yang layak bagi kemanusiaan.\u00a0Memang, guru honorer adalah guru yang diangkat langsung oleh kepala sekolah yang terkait dan tidak terikat instansi manapun. Namun, mengapa perlu bertahun-tahun untuk menjadi guru yang resmi atau PNS? Kalau disebut masa uji coba, mengapa tidak langsung melihat kualitasnya yang riil membawa dampak yang bagus di sekolah terkait?<\/p>\n<p>Pertanyaan itulah yang masih menjadi benak saya ketika menginjak sekolah menengah atas. Menurut saya orang-orang seperti ini lebih bisa disebut sebagai pahlawan, yakni orang-orang yang bekerja dan menerima upah yang tidak sesuai dengan porsi hasil dan tenaga. Kata pekerja, sudah tak mampu lagi bisa menjadi sebutan mereka.<\/p>\n<p>Saya sendiri juga tidak sebegitu mengetahui, eksistensi pahlawan di luar bidang pendidikan seperti apa, bagaimana, dan siapa. Namun, penghargaan yang luar biasa bagi kalian Pahlawan, jika eksistensi kalian terus bergerak dan selalu menggiring negeri ini untuk selangkah, dua langkah, hingga seratus langkah untuk lebih maju dari sebelumnya.
