Kampus ITS, ITS News<\/strong> \u2013 Perkembangan teknologi masa kini memiliki pengaruh besar pada segala bidang, salah satunya andil dalam pembangunan hubungan kerja sama dunia seperti One Belt One Road<\/em> (OBOR). Oleh karena itu, Program Studi Magister Manajemen Teknologi (MMT) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya bersama Chongqing University mengulas terkait OBOR lebih jauh lewat kuliah tamu yang digelar pada Kamis (4\/4) di Ruang Auditorium MMT.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dengan adanya OBOR, pembukaan jalur perdagangan dunia akan semakin luas, khususnya bagi negara-negara di Asia dan Eropa. Dengan demikian, kebutuhan akan infrastruktur menjadi salah satu hal mendesak untuk mewujudkannya. Pada era modern saat ini pun penggunaan peralatan berteknologi merupakan suatu kebutuhan pokok.<\/p>\n

Salah satu contoh pemanfaatan teknologi modern yang telah banyak diterapkan adalah Internet of Things (IoT) dan Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). \u201cDapat dikatakan bahwa RFID dan IoT merupakan kunci atau dasar dari kemajuan teknologi yang mamapu mendukung inisiasi OBOR ini,\u201d ujar\u00a0Executive Dean<\/em> of<\/em> College Chongqing University, Prof Ming K Lim BEng (Hons) PhD FIoC CMIL.<\/p>\n

Keberadaan teknologi tersebut telah banyak membantu perkembangan di dunia industri secara nyata. Pemanfaatannya pun dapat dilakukan mulai dari proses produksi hingga distribusi. Sehingga dapat muncul beragam peralatan khusus yang merupakan hasil dari pengembangan teknologi tersebut, seperti robot industri dan 3D printing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Di samping kebermanfaatan tersebut, kemajuan teknologi juga menemui tantangan tersendiri dalam pengaplikasiannya pada OBOR. Diantaranya adalah keadaan ekonomi, teknologi itu sendiri, dan juga sistem sosial yang ada, merupakan beberapa hal yang harus dihadapi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pengembangan yang didorong oleh inovasi, agar mampu menjawab tantangan dan peluang yang berupa pasar besar.<\/p>\n

\u201cContoh tren pengembangan yang dapat dilakukan adalah skenario aplikasi secara bertahap yang meluas ke beberapa bidang dan aplikasi berganda yang dapat merangsang munculnya perusahaan raksasa kecil,\u201d ujar Dr Rui Chen, presentator pada kuliah tamu.
