Subdit Pengembangan Karir dan Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa (PKKM) ITS menyampaikan profil alumni kepada para pelaku industri dalam sub acara yang bertajuk Industrial Business Gathering. Acara yang dihadiri 32 wakil perusahaan ini bertempat di Grha Sepuluh Nopember pada Rabu (20\/3).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cDalam penyelenggaraan Bursa Karir, kami selalu memberikan inovasi untuk meningkatkan layanan,\u201d tutur Ketua Pelaksana Bursa Karir ITS 37, Arief Abdurrakhman ST MT. Inovasi yang disebutkan bukan hanya sebatas layanan bagi alumni ITS dan pengunjung umum saja, tetapi juga untuk para pelaku industri, khususnya perusahaan partisipan. Salah satu bentuk inovasinya adalah dengan adanya Industrial Business Gathering yang ditujukan untuk memperbanyak relasi dengan berbagai perusahaan sebagai pelaku industri.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam Industrial Business Gathering, dilaksanakan sosialisasi <em><i>tracer study, <\/i><\/em>yakni penyampaian profil dari alumni ITS. Kali ini, profil tersebut didapatkan dari survei yang dilakukan pada alumni ITS angkatan 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Dituturkan oleh Arief, sapaannya, persentase respon terhadap survei meningkat menjadi 81,5 persen dari tahun 2017. \u201cDari 200 pertanyaan, responden melengkapi pengisian kuesioner hingga 75 persen,\u201d tuturnya. Pencapaian tersebut meningkat mengingat pada tahun lalu, responden hanya melengkapi 70\u00a0persen pertanyaan dalam kuesioner.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, masa tunggu alumni untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan pertamanya rata-rata 3,2 bulan dengan gaji rata-rata 4,9 juta Rupiah per bulan. Tiga persen dari alumni yang disurvei memiliki gaji sepuluh juta rupiah per bulannya.<\/p>\n<p>Dari segi akademis, rata-rata Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) alumni sebesar 3,30 dari 4,00. Pemaparan ini juga nantinya diharap dapat mempererat hubungan antara tiap departemen dan manajemen ITS dengan para pelaku industri. \u201cDiharap nantinya dapat melakukan <em><i>Link and Match<\/i><\/em>\u00a0antara departemen dengan perusahaan untuk PMMB (Program Magang Mahasiswa Bersertifikat),\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Seperti yang diketahui, PMMB telah berlangsung sejak akhir 2018. Dan di awal 2019 telah memberangkatkan 69 mahasiswa dengan 16 perusahaan tujuan magang. Arief juga menyampaikan bahwa pihak PKKM sendiri memiliki keinginan untuk menambah perusahaan tempat magang. \u201cLebih banyak perusahaan yang menjalin kerja sama dengan ITS, akan lebih banyak lagi peluang mahasiswa untuk berangkat magang bersertifikat,\u201d pungkasnya.
