Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2013<\/strong> Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai peluang bisnis yang menguntungkan. Hal itu dibahas dalam D talkshow Multimedia and Game Event (MAGE) 2018 yang diadakan Departemen Teknik Komputer Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya dalam Sabtu (17\/11). Dalam seminar ini, narasumber mengupas mengenai siasat menjalankan bisnis berbasis teknologi.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kegiatan Ricky Jeremiah, pembicara dari perusahaan online cicil.co.id menerangkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi di Indonesia masih sangat jauh jika dibandingkan dengan berbagai negeramaju di luar sana, khususnya pada dunia bisnis. Hal tersebut juga menjadi salah satu penyebab perkembangan ekonomi yang masih sedikit tertinggal dengan negara-negara maju.<\/p>\n

Beberapa tips dalam mengembangkan teknologi yang berkaitan dengan bisnis juga disampaikan oleh Ricky. Model yang awal dilakukan yaitu dengan melihat masalah di lingkungan sekitar. Dari masalah itu dipikirkan suatu solusi yang pemecahan masalah tersebut dikaitkan dengan teknologi-teknologi saat ini. \u201cSehingga teknologi tersebut bisa berkembang sekaligus menjadi ranah bisnis yang menghasilkan laba,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Pria yang bekerja sebagai Chief Technology Officer (CTO) juga menjelaskan bahwa teknologi pada zaman sekarang hanyalah sebuah alat saja. Semuanya tergantung dari diri masing-masing dalam pemanfaatan dan pengambangannya. Banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan dari hal itu, khususnya untuk dunia bisnis.\u201dKuncinya ialah kita tidak boleh ketinggalan dengan yang lain, kita harus jadi orang yang terdepan,\u201d tungkasnya.<\/p>\n

Dr I Ketut Eddy Purnama ST MT, ketua Departemen Teknik Komputer pun turut hadir dakam acara tersebut. Ia menambahi bahwa teknologi bisa menjadi sebagai salah satu penggerak pada perekonomian di daerah maupun nasional. \u201cUntuk itu, ITS mendukung pengembangan bisnis berbasis teknologi dengan mewajibkannya semua mahasiswanya untuk mendapatkan mata kuliah teknopreneur,\u201d pungkasnya.
