Kampus ITS, ITS News –<\/strong> Salah satu dilema yang dialami oleh pelaku usaha kuliner adalah pelanggan yang terlalu lama menempati tempat duduk namun dengan pembelian yang sedikit. Hal ini tentu mempengaruhi pendapatan yang bisa diterima oleh pelaku usaha. Namun kini mahasiswa ITS mampu menemukan jalan tengah dari permasalahan ini melalui aplikasi bernama Alarm Nongkrong.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dilansir dari detik.com, disebutkan alasan tutupnya 30 gerai perusahan asing yang cukup besar bernama 7-Eleven di awal tahun 2017 adalah pendapatan dari penjualan tidak menutup biaya operasional seperti listik, lampu, Wi-Fi dan lainnya. Demi mencegah UKM kuliner menghadapi masalah yang sama, Jihan Firka Mahirah, Kalam Al Jibran, Narendra Dedy Winata, dan Mahardika Favian Alfandaviska menciptakan Alarm Nongkrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cKita sering menjumpai pelanggan yang berlama-lama menikmati fasilitas dengan pembelian yang sedikit, hal itu tentu merugikan UKM,\u201d keluh Narendra Dedy Winata.<\/p>\n

Diungkapkan oleh Rendra, sapaan akrabnya, aplikasi Alarm Nongkrong ini menerapkan konsep Industri 4.0 dimana digunakan sistem kerja jarak jauh menggunakan internet dan tanpa kabel. Alarm Nongkrong akan mengonversi harga makanan atau minuman yang dibeli untuk diubah menjadi satuan waktu. \u201cDari situ dapat ditentukan kapan pelanggan tersebut boleh menggunakan fasilitas atau memesan lagi dengan maksimal waktu satu jam,\u201d jelas mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Industri tersebut.<\/p>\n

Aplikasi Alarm Nongkrong juga dilengkapi dengan fitur permainan, berita, browser, dan hotspot. Selain itu aplikasi ini juga berguna untuk mendapatkan data pelanggan dan penjualan yang akan digunakan untuk pertimbangan untuk proses bisnis kedepannya. \u201cData aktivitas konsumen dapat direkam dan dipantau langsung oleh UKM hanya dengan menggunakan aplikasi server secara online,\u201d tutur Rendra.<\/p>\n

Untuk menguji keberhasilan Alarm Nongkrong, kelimanya menjadikan Aiola Eatery, Surabaya sebagai mitra. \u201cAiola Eatery memiliki peminat yang cukup tinggi, jadi banyak pelanggan yang datang dan tidak mendapat tempat duduk karena banyak pelanggan yang duduk berlama \u2013 lama,\u201d tutur mahasiswa asal Jakarta tersebut.<\/p>\n

Sejak diluncurkannya Alarm Nongkrong ini, keluhan pelanggan yang tidak mendapatkan tempat duduk pun langsung teratasi. Pelanggan mengetahui kapan harus meninggalkan tempat melalui notifikasi ketika waktu telah habis. Pelanggan yang masih ingin berlama-lama di Aiola Eatery pun diarahkan untuk memesan makanan dan minuman kembali atau tidak dapat menggunakan fasilitas yang ada.<\/p>\n

Dengan kemajuan teknologi yang pesat, Rendra berharap penerapan teknologi dan industri 4.0 ini tak hanya dilakukan oleh perusahaan besar, tetapi juga oleh pelaku usaha kecil seperti UKM. \u201cTingkat UKM juga diharapkan dapat menerapkan konsep Industri 4.0 agar dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan global dan persaingan pasar,\u201d pungkasnya.
