Kegiatannya diawali dengan briefing ke beberapa SMA. Wilayahnya mencakup Gresik, Surabaya, dan Sidoarjo. Nuning, ketua panitia kegiatan, mengatakan tujuan briefing adalah mensosialisasikan try out dan program tersebut kepada siswa SMA. <\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, mahasiswi kelahiran 1983 ini mengatakan, try out-nya telah dilaksanakan pada Minggu (20\/2) lalu secara serentak di tiga kota. Ada tiga tempat juga yang digunakan sebagai tempat yaitu SMAN I Sidoarjo, SMAN I  Surabaya, serta SMUN I Gresik. Hasilnya, sebanyak 256 peserta ikut berpartisipasi.  Mengenai soal Try Out SPMB, pihaknya menggandeng salah satu LBB ternama untuk diajak kerjasama. <\/p>\n<p>Setelah try out, Himatika melanjutkan dengan kegiatan Olimpiade Matematika se-Jawa Timur dan Math Health. Keduanya dilaksanakan dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Untuk Olimpiade Matematika, babak penyisihan Minggu (6\/3)yang dipusatkan pada empat regional dari 24 daerah se-Jatim. Finalnya akan ditempatkan di jurusan Matematika, Sabtu (12\/3) besok. <\/p>\n<p>Sedangkan Math Health digelar selama dua minggu, berakhir Minggu (17\/3). Nuning menjelaskan lebih rinci lagi kegiatan ini. Math Health adalah  pertandingan olahraga antar SMA se-Surabaya. Jenis yang dilombakan hanya ada dua, Bola Voli dan Basket. &quot;Di lapangan Bumi Moro, sekitar Perak,&quot; tutur Nuning saat ditanya tempat pertandingan. Alasan memilih indoor dibanding outdoor, ia kembali menjelaskan. &quot;Kita kan nggak ingin peserta kecewa jika tiba-tiba ada hujan,&quot; komentarnya. <\/p>\n<p>Tentang peserta, 16 tim bertanding basket dan 8 tim volley. Hadiah antara pertandingan bola basket dan voli memiliki nominal berbeda. &quot;Selain itu, mereka juga dapat trophy dari rektorat,&quot; tambah Nuning.
