Peserta mempersiapkan simulasi produksi di PT Amerta Indah Otsuka<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Auditorium Sinarmas, ITS News\u00a0<\/strong>– Mengangkat tema Sustainable Agro Industry for Global Food Security<\/em>, Industrial Engineering (IE) Games menawarkan sesuatu yang baru. Ajang berlevel nasional yang dihelat Departemen Teknik Industri Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, Jumat (9\/2), ini memiliki misi untuk menanamkan kesadaran dan semangat problem solving<\/em> terhadap perkembangan industri pertanian.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Vico Ilham Saputra, ketua pelaksana IE Games menjelaskan, sebagai negara agraris, Indonesia memiliki potensi yang besar dalam industri pertanian. Saat ini berbagai isu pertanian juga sedang booming<\/em> dalam masyarakat. \u201cSehingga kami memutuskan pertanian bisa menjadi topik yang menarik untuk IE Games kali ini,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Mahasiswa yang akrab disapa Vico ini mengungkapkan, banyak tantangan yang butuh penyelesaian di bidang pertanian di Indonesia. Misalnya, efisiensi dalam industri pertanian yang butuh ditingkatkan. \u201cIE Games bisa menjadi ajang tepat untuk menjaring pemikiran dan inovasi dalam bidang teknik industri,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Vico juga mengungkapkan IE Games kali ini dikemas secara asik dan menyenangkan. Misalnya, adanya subacara seperti running lab<\/em>, company visit<\/em>, malam keakraban, dan banyak lagi yang lainnya.<\/p>\n

Tak hanya itu, IE Games kali ini juga menggaet PT Petrokimia Gresik dan PT Amerta Indah Otsuka untuk agenda talkshow<\/em> dan kunjungan perusahaan. Lewat kedua subacara tersebut, peserta IE Games mendapatkan materi tentang alur produksi dalam perusahaan sekaligus studi kasus. Nantinya, materi tersebut akan digunakan dalam tahap final.<\/p>\n

Dalam tahap final, lima finalis akan menjalankan simulasi bisnis dengan menggunakan prinsip-prinsip teknik industri seperti perencanaan, manajemen, produksi, hingga distribusi. \u201cDewan juri pada final ini selain dari akademisi atau dosen, juga dari PT Petrokimia Gresik atau praktisi,\u201d pungkas Vico.
