Kampus ITS, ITS News –\u00a0<\/strong>Tim Anvil yang terdiri dari lima orang mahasiswa Departemen Material Metalurgi ITS berhasil membawa pulang piala juara 1 dalam lomba Chula international Innovation Challange for Community (CIIC), Kamis (25\/1). Lomba ini diadakan oleh Fakultas Teknik Chulalongkorn University.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Untuk kesekian kalinya nama Zaid Sulaiman terukir di papan juara. Setelah menjadi jawara dalam casting competition<\/em> yang diadakan oleh Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung, sekarang ia bersama ke empat temannya, Anky Fitrian Wibowo, Muhammad Junda Azizi, Adi Noval Ihsan, dan Yohannes Marudut Tua Silaen menjadi juara dalam lomba ini<\/p>\n

Ketekunan dan keuletan menjadi kunci keberhasilan Zaid Sulaiman dan teman-teman untuk meraih juara dalam lomba internasional ini.\u00a0 Lomba yang di ikuti 55 tim dari seluruh penjuru negara tak menggentarkan semangat Zaid Sulaiman dan temannya.<\/p>\n

Lomba ini bertema inovasi teknologi yang bisa digunakan oleh masyarakat sekitar Chulalongkorn University. Zaid mengatakan \u201cLomba ini sangat menarik karena bisa menerapkan ilmu yang dimiliki untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah warga setempat,\u201d.<\/p>\n

Untuk persiapan lomba, Zaid membutuhkan waktu satu bulan untuk pencarian ide, membuat rancangan bahan, menggabungkan teknologi, hingga latihan alat guna menerapkan sehingga nantinya saat perlombaan tidak terlalu susah.<\/p>\n

Tak mau kalah dari universitas di seluruh penjuru dunia. Ia dan tim mewujudkan sebuah prototype<\/em> yang menggelitik hingga menimbulkan ketertarikan sang juri. \u201cKreativitas kita diakui oleh profesor yang menjadi juri CIIC,\u201d imbuh Zaid.<\/p>\n

Acara Final yang diadakan di Chulalingkorn University Thailand meninggalkan pengalaman yang seru nan menantang. Zaid menuturkan lomba ini memberinya ekspektasi lebih. Hal itu karena perlombaan terdiri dari camp<\/em> yang membuat peserta saling mengenal dan bertukar budaya.<\/p>\n
