Garasindo Electric Scooter ITS (Gesits), Jumat (15\/12), mendirikan <em>teaching industry<\/em> pertama di Indonesia yang berfokus pada pengembangan industri perakitan sepeda motor listrik.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Diresmikan oleh Prof H Mohammad Nasir PhD Ak, Menteri Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Menristekdikti) Indonesia, <em>teaching industry<\/em> pertama di ITS ini siap menfasilitasi berbagai masalah pengembangan industri otomotif listrik di Indonesia. \u201cITS adalah bagian tidak terpisahkan dari sejarah industri motor listrik di Indonesia,\u201d tegas Nasir dalam sambutannya.<\/p>\n<p>Lanjut Nasir, <em>teaching industry <\/em>yang didanai Kemenristekdikti ini dapat menjadi pelecut bagi peneliti perguruan tinggi untuk segera merealisasikan riset yang mereka miliki . \u201cRiset yang hanya sebatas publikasi dan tidak bisa diserap industri bukanlah inovasi. Inovasi harus mampu dihilirisasi dan komersialisasi,\u201d tambah guru besar kelahiran Ngawi tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Melalui <em>teaching industry <\/em>yang dinaungi Pusat Unggulan IPTEK (PUI) Sistem dan Kontrol Otomotif (SKO) ITS, Nasir berharap ITS berhasil menciptakan motor listrik dengan harga kompetitif dan kualitas terbaik \u201cHarapannya motor listrik dapat menggeser kebutuhan motor di Indonesia, terlebih seluruh teknisinya adalah anak Indonesia,\u201d tandasnya mengapresiasi.<\/p>\n<p>Dilain sisi, Rektor ITS, Prof Joni Hermana MSc ES PhD, memaparkan <em>teaching industry <\/em>\u00a0adalah bentuk keseimbangan dari peran perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan dan mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia yang handal guna menunjang proses produksi masal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelain itu, melalui program pelatihan <em>teaching industry <\/em>ini \u00a0diharapkan mahasiswa memiliki bayangan terkait bagaimana sebenarnya industri otomatif berlangsung,\u201d tutur Guru Besar Teknik Lingkungan ITS tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Selaras dengan hal tersebut, dengan delapan proses manufaktur yang dimiliki saat ini, <em>teaching industry<\/em> pertama di ITS ini berhasil menghasilkan motor listrik dengan waktu tunggu selama 5 menit dan keseluruhan proses perakitan selama 45 menit lewat konsep <em>modular assembly.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dikatakan Dr Muhammad Nur Yuniarto ST, Direktur PUI-SKO ITS, konsep <em>modular assembly<\/em> ini sangat sesuai mendukung proses pendidikan karena konfigurasinya dapat diubah sesuai kebutuhan. \u201cSelain itu, hal ini juga didukung dengan seluruh fasilitas di <em>teaching industry<\/em> yang didesain sendiri sesuai kebutuhan,\u201d tambah Dosen Teknik Mesin itu.<\/p>\n<p>Pria berkacamata tersebut menjelaskan konsep ini juga mendukung proses pengembangan varian baru dari Gesits yang dapat di ujicoba terlebih dahulu di <em>teaching industry<\/em> sebelum dilakukan produksi massal maupun pihak lain yang bergerak di industri motor listrik. \u201cKami siap bekerjasama dengan seluruh pihak yang berkecimpung di industri otomotif listrik nasional,\u201d tegas Doktor Lulusan Manchester University Inggris tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Hebatnya, selain melibatkan mahasiswa ITS dan lulusan perguruan tinggi. <em>Teachning Industry<\/em> dengan 25 teknisi ini juga melibatkan lulusan SD, SMP, dan SMK dalam proses pembuatannya. \u201cBerbagai lulusan jenjang pendidikan kami siapkan untuk berkontribusi di industri perakitan sepeda motor listrik Indonesia,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n<p>Diakhir, Lulusan Terbaik ITS 1997 ini yakin dapat menghasilkan berbagai inovasi baru dan memberikan berbagai solusi pengembangan dalam industri motor listrik Indonesia melalui fasilitas <em>teaching industry<\/em> yang dimiliki. \u201cSemoga saat ini ITS telah berada satu step kedepan sebagai Pusat Pengembangan Teknologi Otomotif Indonesia,\u201d tandasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Selain peresmian <em>teaching industry, <\/em>dalam kesempatan yang sama dilakukan penandatangan Gesits edisi Merah Putih oleh Menristek dan penyerahan motor Gesits pertama kepada Rektor ITS untuk menunjang operasional Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember.
