Inilah yang mendorong mahasiswa ITS melakukan studi banding pada bidang wirausaha di Entrepreneur&#8217;s Resource Center Institute (ERCI), Singapura, Rabu (16\/11).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Materi yang tergabung dalam acara ITS Goes Global Batch 2: Singapore\u00a0 ini disampaikan langsung oleh Alan Go, <em>Chief Executive Officer<\/em> (CEO) ERCI. Ia memaparkan terkait langkah awal berwirausaha dan memberikan motivasi pada mahasiswa ITS. &#8220;Langkah awal dalam berwirausaha adalah harus memiliki motivasi. Wirausaha itu membutuhkan motivasi dan tekad yang kuat sehingga penting untuk diperhatikan dan dijaga,&#8221; jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam berwirausaha pun, lanjutnya, dapat dimulai sejak dini. Menurutnya, bisnis tidak ditentukan oleh usia seseorang. &#8220;Bisnis bisa dimulai kapan saja, dalam usia berapapun, dan oleh siapapun. Banyak pebisnis muda yang berusia dibawah 20 tahun namun sudah bisa membangun suatu usaha, Mikaila ulmer contohnya,&#8221; tuturnya bersemangat.<\/p>\n<p>Alan turut menjelaskan bahwasanya Indonesia memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dijadikan lapangan usaha. Menurutnya, Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan sumber daya alam dan besar wilayahnya, segingga terdapat peluang usaha yang besar jika potensinya digali lebih dalam.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Disamping itu, ia memberi motivasi pada mahasiswa ITS untuk terus berkembang. &#8220;Kalian (mahasiswa ITS, red) harus menggali potensi diri dan totalitas semangat dalam berusaha. Jika gagal, bangkit lagi, gagal lagi, bangkit lagi,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah pemaparan usai dilakukan, mahasiswa ITS diajak berkeliling di area ERCI. Di ERCI terdapat banyak fasilitas yang disediakan untuk mahasiswanya. Beberapa diantaranya adalah area <em>gymnasium<\/em> (arena olahraga, red), area untuk belajar, cafe, kelas dan berbagai fasilitas lainnya.<\/p>\n<p>Alan mengaku, fasilitas ini disediakan untuk menaruh perhatian dalam pelayanan dan pelatihan internasional tentang kewirausahaan untuk menjawab kebutuhan masa depan dunia. &#8220;Dalam kelas pun kami seringkali mengadakan presentasi dan diskusi dibandingkan dengan mempelajari teorinya saja,&#8221; imbuhnya.<\/p>\n<p>Saat studi banding usai dilaksanakan, Vidia Widya, salah satu peserta studi banding ini mengaku puas dengan ilmu yang didapatkan. \u201cSaya senang mendapat ilmu baru dan menjadi paham terkait wirausaha. Saya juga salut dengan bapak Alan yang bersemangat dalam menjelaskan sehingga saya antusias untuk mendengarkan,\u201d ucap mahasiswa Sistem Informasi itu.
