Diawali dengan mobil Widya Wahana 1 (WW 1) yang dibuat sekitar tahun 1985.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
”Itu (WW1)  adalah mobil surya pertama di Indonesia,” ujar Triyogi Yuwono saat me-launching <\/em>Widya Wahana IV Sapu Angin di depan Rektorat ITS, Sabtu (24\/8\/2013).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Sayangnya, mobil ini gagal bertarung di ajang World Solar Challenge akibat masalah teknis. Mobil ini pun hanya di pajang di Musium Energi Indonesia.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Beberapa tahun kemudian, ITS kembali membuat mobil Widya Wahana II.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Sama halnya dengan WW 1, mobil ini gagal berpartisipasi di World Solar Challenge (WSC).<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Meski gagal, ITS kembali berinovasi dengan menciptakan mobil Widya Wahana III pada tahun 1993.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Hampir saja mobil generasi ketiga ini tampil di ajang WSC. Namun karena tidak mendapat dukungan dana dari kampus maupun pihak swasta, mobil inipun mengalami nasib yang sama dengan dua generasi sebelumnya.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Tiga kali kegagalan tidak membuat ITS patah semangat. Pada awal tahun 2012, tim mobil surya yang diberi nama ITS Solar Car Racing Team mulai menggarap mobil surya generasi keempat.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Agar Widya Wahana IV Sapuangin ini tidak mengalami nasib sama dengan WW 2, ITS merancang membuat ruang pameran atau museum khusus yang rencananya akan memakai salah satu lantai di gedung baru lantai 11 yang kini dalam tahap pengerjaan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
