{"id":3019,"date":"2005-03-15T12:45:09","date_gmt":"2005-03-15T12:45:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2005\/03\/15\/kemampuan-biosurfaktan-degradasi-hidrokarbon\/"},"modified":"2005-03-15T12:45:09","modified_gmt":"2005-03-15T12:45:09","slug":"kemampuan-biosurfaktan-degradasi-hidrokarbon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/kemampuan-biosurfaktan-degradasi-hidrokarbon\/","title":{"rendered":"Kemampuan Biosurfaktan Degradasi Hidrokarbon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hadir pada sesi berikutnya, Langka Sembiring MSc PhD sebagai pemakalah utama kedua dengan tema yang diusung dosen Mikrobiologi UGM ini, &quot;Sistematika Mikrobia Sebagai Sarana Penyikap Keanekaragaman Mikrobia Dalam Upaya Pelestarian Dan Pemanfaatan Sumberdaya Hayati Mikrobia&quot;. &quot;Sistematika mikrobia merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari keanekaragaman mikrobia serta hubungan antar mikrobia, baik hubungan similaritas (fenetik) maupun kekerabatan (filogenetik),&quot; ujar Sembiring. <\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut juga diterangkannya mengenai perlu kejelihan oleh peneliti atau ilmuwan dalam menyusun sistematika mikrobia yakni tiga subdisiplin, antara alain klasifikasi, identifikasi dan nomenklatur. Meskipun, kemampuan studi sistematika mikrobia setiap peneliti berbeda dan masih dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan biologi dengan ilmu kimia, biokimia, biologi molekuler, genetika molekuler, evolusi molekuler serta manipulasi data dengan komputer.<\/p>\n<p>Melihat diantara hasil penelitian mengenai keanekaragaman mikrobia di Indonesia, menurut kaca mata Sembiring, &quot;Keanekaragaman Streptomisetes yang berasosiasi dengan system perakaran sengon (Paraserianhtes falcataria) dan meranti (Shorea sp),&quot; ujar ahli sistematik mikrobia ini. &quot;Hasil yang diperoleh sebanyak 607 isolat yang dikelompokkan atas 493 isolat multimembered dan 144 single-membered colour group,&quot; lanjut Sembiring.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Studi sistematik pada representatif strain dari Streptomisetes telah dihasilkan temuan 6 spesies baru dan juga sudah diakuai oleh Internasional yakni DSM (Deutch Samlung Mikroorganismen und Zelkulturen) di Jerman dan Scotland,&quot; jelasnya lagi. Sudah barang tentu bahwa masih ada studi keanekaragaman mikrobia di tanah air yang belum disebutkan secara lengkap pada institusi Internasional oleh peneliti Indonesia. Diantaranya, mikroba atau biosurfaktan Pseudomonas aeruginosa IA7D yang telah diteliti oleh Ni&#8217;matuzahroh, peserta pemakalah dalam Seminar Nasional Biologi kemarin. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Dimana kelimpahan biosurfaktan Pseudomonas aeruginosa IA7D ini memiliki kemampuan atau respon pertumbuhan untuk mendegradasi minyak pelumas (hidrokarbon) yang tumpah di laut sampai 95%, ujar Ni&#8217;ma. Sehingga biosurfaktan akan memanfaatkan ketersediaan substrat hidrokarbon di laut sebagai media pertumbuhan dan akhirnya hidrokarbon akan menurun seiring tingkat metabolisme sel biosurfaktan meningkat,&quot; jelas pemakalah asal Universitas Airlangga Surabaya.<\/p>\n<p>Di atas sekelumit tentang hasil penelitian di Indonesia yang masih belum terdaftar di instansi internasional dan menurut rencana Ni&#8217;ma, &quot;Saya akan mendaftarkan biosurfaktan srtain IA7D ini ke Jerman dan maksimal tahun depan nanti,&quot; ujar wanita berjilbab ini. Harapannya bahwa masih pentingnya pengenalan dan pemahaman akan sistematika mikrobia, bila hal ini ditinggalkan akan dikhawatirkan membawa kekacauan dalam nomenklatur mikrobia dalam setiap penelitian.
