Paling tidak, tahun 2013 sudah mulai menerima mahasiswa baru,&quot; kata Faroek didampingi Rektor ITS Surabaya Prof Dr Ir Triyogi Yuwono DEA di Rektorat ITS, Selasa.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut dia, ITK nantinya harus bisa mewakili keadaan Kaltim. Misalnya terkait fakultas yang akan didirikan.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Apalagi Kaltim ke depan, sesuai Masterplan Percepatan dan Perluasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia (MP3EI) akan dijadikan sebagai pusat energi dan lumbung pertanian,&quot; katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Menanggapi hal itu, Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Triyogi Yuwono DEA mengaku telah siap dengan perencanaan pembangunan ITK.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Kami siap membantu apa saja yang diperlukan. Kami akan membangun ITK dengan metode yang benar-benar baru. Fakultas yang akan didirikan juga berdasar studi kasus di daerah Kalimantan,&quot; katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Mengenai keberadaan Universitas Mulawarman dan Politeknik Balikpapan, ia menyatakan tidak akan meleburnya menjadi satu dengan ITK. &quot;Segmen pasarnya beda. Biar berdiri sendiri,&quot; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Mengenai tenaga dosen, Yogi mengaku telah menyiapkan mulai dari sekarang. Sedikitnya ada 120 mahasiswa ITS dengan grade A yang disekolahkan di Jerman.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Sebelum mahasiswa itu lulus, ITS dan ITB akan mengirimkan beberapa tenaga dosen untuk mengajar di sana,&quot; katanya, didampingi Pembantu Rektor II ITS, Dr Muhammad Faqih, selaku koordinator persiapan ITK.<\/p>\n<p>ITK nantinya akan ada tujuh bangunan utama, yakni rektorat, lima fakultas, dan perpustakaan. Lima fakultas yang dipersiapkan adalah FTSP, FTI, FMIPA, FTP, dan FTM, dengan 26 program studi.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, ketujuh bangunan utama itu akan dilengkapi dengan enam zona, yakni asrama mahasiswa, perumahan dosen, pusat riset, dan sebagainya. Arsitekturnya akan dikembangkan seperti &quot;green building&quot;.
