Dana itu digunakan untuk beasiswa mandiri bagi 50 mahasiswa ITS yang berprestasi namun kurang mampu. Masing-masing mahasiswa berprestasi mendapat beasiswa sebesar Rp 6 juta selama setahun.<\/p>\n<p>Rektor ITS, Prof Triyogi Yuwono DEA mengatakan, banyak mahasiswa yang protes dengan banyaknya bank yang ada di lingkungan kampus. Menurutnya, ini bagus karena masing-masing bank nantinya bisa berlomba-lomba memberikan pelayanan yang prima.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Nantinya kan warga kampus yang menikmati hasilnya, mereka yang memilih mau menggunakan bank yang mana. Ini bagus menurut saya,&quot; katanya di sela-sela peresmian kantor kas Bank Mandiri Surabaya di ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Dia juga berharap, kerjasama dengan Bank Mandiri ini bisa dikembangkan, sehingga ke depan bisa menjadi lebih baik.<\/p>\n<p>Direktur Utama Bank Mandiri, Zulkifli Zaini mengatakan, bantuan hibah yang merupakan salah satu program kepedulian social perusahaan (CSR) tersebut dimaksudkan untuk dapat membantu ITS dalam melahirkan pemimpin bangsa masa depan yang berkualitas.<\/p>\n<p>Selain dana hibah untuk ITS, bank Mandiri juga memberikan bantuan&nbsp; sebesar Rp 55 juta untuk perbaikan sarana dan prasarana umum SDN Kandangan I, Surabaya dan Rp 355 juta untuk penambahan ambulans di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jatim.
