Tim membingbing ibu-ibu PKK memulai berwirausaha menaikkan taraf pendapatan mereka. Dari survey awal yang dilakukan tim, potensi wirausaha di Keputih Tegal ini sangat baik. Namun dari segi penjualan masih belum dilaksanakan maksimal. Lalu, tim berinisiatif membantu mengembangkan produk jahe bubuk dalam segi diversifikasi produk, pengemasan yang inovatif, dan pemasaran yang terorganisasi.<\/p>\n

Program dimulai dengan penyamaan persepsi mengenai pentingnya diversifikasi produk, pengemasan inovatif, dan pemasaran terorganisasi. Didapatkan bahwa ibu-ibu PKK memahami dan bersedia melakukan program ini. Selanjutnya praktik membuat jahe bubuk yang baik bekerjasama dengan Dinas Pertanian Surabaya, dalam tiga varian rasa (original, krimer, cokelat). Disusul membentuk grup kerja berupa miniatur perusahaan yang terdiri dari direktur, bidang keuangan, dan bproduksi. Di sini peran tim adalah membuat kemasan yang berbeda dari produk sejenis dan membuka pasar untuk sasaran penjualan.<\/p>\n

Sampai saat ini penjualan produk Djahe, nama produk jahe bubuk ini, terus dilaksanakan di sekitar ITS. Penjualannya pun terus meningkat. Pada Minggu (17\/4) dalam even baksos, ibu-ibu PKK ini menjual produknya, dan langsung ludes 100 bungkus dalam waktu tidak sampai 20 menit. Produk jahe bubuk ini diakui konsumen memiliki rasa enak, khususnya varian rasa cokelat, karena belum ada di pasaran. Dengan program tersebut ibu-ibu PKK memiliki penghasilan tambahan, walaupun untuk awal memang belum banyak, namun program ini terasa manfaatnya bagi mereka. Ke depannya, tim terus mencari pasar untuk penjualan produk Djahe, setelah itu mereka berharap terus mendampingi pembelajaran berbisnis ini. Semoga dengan program ini, cita-cita tim menggagas desa inspirasi, terwujud di Keputih Tegal, Surabaya, harap para awak tim ITS.<\/p>\n
