Tapi tidak bagi Agus Ziyad (Teknik Kelautan) dan Destina Wahyu Winata (Matematika). Kedua mahasiswa ini telah membuktikannya. Mereka berhasil melaju ke babak final kontes debat capres setelah menyisihkan 68 peserta dalam acara yang diselenggarakan UPT Bahasa ITS itu. <\/p>\n<p>Praktis, nama besar dan reputasi ITS tergantung pada pundak dua orang mahasiswa ini. Mereka akan beradu tangkas dalam berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Lawannya adalah mahasiswa fakultas sastra atau bahasa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi ternama di Surabaya.<\/p>\n<p>Usaha yang mereka lakukan untuk mengikuti kontes ini cukup berat. Destina misalnya, Mahasiswi semester 8 ini bahkan harus mencari informasi yang dibutuhkannya lewat internet. &quot;Untung nyarinya di Labkom, jadi gratis,&quot; ujarnya sambil tertawa. Gadis berambut sebahu ini mengaku sudah sering mengikuti kontes bahasa Inggris. Hal inilah yang membuatnya tidak terlalu grogi saat tampil di depan 4 dewan juri. <\/p>\n<p>Rencananya, kesepuluh finalis ini akan bertanding di studio JTV besok (29\/6) dari jam 11.00 sampai 13.30 WIB secara Live. &quot;Mereka akan mendebatkan topik yang telah ditentukan, yaitu masalah TKI, Hukuman mati bagi koruptor dan pinjaman luar negeri,&quot; ujar Dra. Lubna Algadrie, Dipl.TEFL.MA, direktur UPT Bahasa ITS. Topik &#8211; topik itu, menurut Lubna,  dipilih untuk meningkatkan kepedulian mahasiswa akan pemilihan presiden, 5 Juli nanti. Dan bagaimana tanggapan mereka tentang kondisi bangsanya sekarang.<\/p>\n<p>Selain uang, pemenang kontes debat capres ini juga mendapat piala yang akan diserahkan langsung oleh Pembantu Rektor III ITS, Dr.Ir.
