Mahasiswa diploma sipil angkatan 2013 ini beri kenangan manis untuk ITS di tahun terakhirnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Kakak dua adik dari empat bersaudara ini sempat memiliki kendala saat menjadi mahasiswa baru ITS. &quot;Yang sangat saya rasakan perbedaannya adalah perbedaan bahasa. Dulu, saya sangat sulit memahami karena sama sekali tidak tau. Kini, saya paham meski aneh bila mengucapkan,&quot; Pungkasnya. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Kendala lain yang ia rasakan yaitu budaya yang jauh berbeda. &nbsp;Aceh sendiri sangat kental dengan budaya islamnya. &quot;Butuh waktu untuk beradaptasi sih. Aceh panas tapi Surabaya lebih panas,&quot; tutur Deo sembari tersenyum.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Membuat gedung, jembatan, jalan dan pembangunan-pembangunan lain adalah materi penting dari Jurusan Teknik Sipil. Tak heran jika Deo dan rekan-rekannya paham betul mengenai sistem kontruksi jembatan yang dilombakan saat Wiratman Bridge Challenge. Lomba yang diadakan oleh perusahaan konsultan multidisiplin PT. Wiratman ini menghadiahkan uang pendidikan dengan total Rp 35,5 juta ditambah kesempatan magang bagi pemenang juara pertama.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Melalui kompetisi dengan tema a strong, innovative, sustainable and economical suspension bridge, PT. Wiratman memberi kesempatan untuk mahasiswa apabila ingin &nbsp;memberi ide dan inovasi jembatan gantung pejalan kaki yang aplikatif sehingga nantinya dapat direalisasikan dalam proyek Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) perusahaan ini.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Didampingi Afif Navir Revani ST MT, Deo dan rekan-rekan dari Diploma Sipil tidak gemetar melawan nama besar perguruan tinggi lain. &quot;Saya merasakan bagaimana solidaritas keluarga diploma sipil saat berada di kompetisi nasional ini. Seolah-olah kami ingin berteriak bahwa almamater kami adalah almamater yang terbaik. Dan ITS mampu membuktikan. Kami bawa pulang trohy juara pertamanya,&quot; ucap Deo.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&quot;Bukan hal mudah menjadi juara pertama. Saat membuat maket, kami harus meminta-minta bahan ke toko-toko karena tipisnya dana. Kami juga sampai membuat maket di Kereta saat perjalanan. Waktu yang diberikan mepet,&quot; keluh Deo.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ia menyadari bahwa kesuksesan itu berdasar atas kerja keras. Deo berprinsip agar ia selalu melakukan yang terbaik dalam hal apapun. &quot;Tuntutlah Ilmu, raih prestasi dan pulanglah.
