Sedangkan soal yang diujikan dan waktu pengerjaan sama dengan tes tertulis atau <em>Paper Based Test <\/em>(PBT). Perbedaannya terletak pada teknik penyampaian butir soal yang tidak lagi meggunakan kertas, baik untuk naskah soal maupun lembar jawaban.<\/p>\n<p>Sistem skoring atau koreksi juga langsung dilakukan oleh komputer. Biasanya peserta bisa mengerjakan dan melihat butir soal dari nomor pertama sampai dengan terakhir. Dengan demikian peserta tidak perlu repot membulatkan lembar ujian seperti pada PBT.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah sukses dengan 60 peserta CBT pada 2016, ITS menambah kuota CBT hingga lebih dari sepuluh kali lipat. Tahun ini, sebanyak 620 peserta SBMPTN melakukan ujian dengan sistem CBT. Nilai ini tak lain adalah sepuluh persen dari total peserta SBMPTN di ITS. &quot;Hal ini dilakukan sesuai dengan instruksi dari pusat,&quot; terang Dr Siti Machmudah ST M Eng, Ketua Tim Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Sistem CBT ini bisa dipilih langsung oleh peserta saat melakukan pendaftaran daring. Setelah kuota CBT terpenuhi, maka PBT lah yang akan didapat oleh peserta SBMPTN. CBT dilakukan di 12 titik ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelas titik adalah departemen di ITS yakni Teknik Informatika, Statistika, Teknik Industri, Teknik Mesin, Teknik Kimia, dan Matematika. Selain itu juga departemen Desain Produk, Desain Interior, Sistem Informasi, dan Arsitektur. Sedangkan satu titik lain adalah perpustakaan ITS lantai tiga.<\/p>\n<p>Meski kuota CBT ITS meningkat signifikan, namun masih ada peserta yang tak mengetahui keberadaan CBT. Rachmad Adi Nugroho, salah satu peserta SBMPTN yang memilih Desain Produk mengaku tak tahu CBT. &quot;Saya <em>ngga <\/em>tahu kalau ternyata ada CBT, jadi tesnya tulis seperti kebanyakan,&quot; ungkap siswa SMKN 1 Surabaya ini.<\/p>\n<p>Pengumuman hasil SBMPTN 2017 ini akan dirilis pada Selasa (13\/6) mendatang pukul 17.00 WIB. Dari 31.282 peserta yang mendaftar, ITS akan menerima sebanyak 1366 mahasiswa baru lewat jalur SBMPTN.
