Menurut Edy Suprayitno SS MHum, Kepala Perpustakaan ITS memaparkan, sosialisasi mengenai pengenalan e-journal telah dilakukan. Namun, untuk kegiatan pelatihan hanya dilakukan ketika ada permintaan dari pihak jurnal.<\/p>\n<p>Kendati dirasa kurang efektif, Perpustakaan ITS akhirnya berinisiatif untuk mengadakan pelatihan E-Resources Class secara rutin sejak bulan Januari.&quot;Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini dilakukan setiap Selasa, di minggu ke-3 dan diperuntukkan bagi seluruh sivitas academica ITS,&quot; pungkasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk prosedur mengikuti pelatihan inipun tidaklah sulit. Peserta hanya cukup mendaftar pada laman <a href=&quot;http:\/\/bit.ly\/e-resourcesclass%20&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot; title=&quot;Register E-Resources Class&quot;>http:\/\/bit.ly\/e-resourcesclass <\/a>tanpa dipungut biaya apapun. Dalam pelaksanaannya, peserta akan diberikan materi seperti etika dalam&nbsp;mengunduh, mengakses dan memanfaatkan e-journal, buku digital atau e-book serta pangkalan data <em>online.&nbsp;<\/em>Sekaligus, peserta juga diajarkan cara mengakses ITS&nbsp;<em>digital&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<em>repository.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em>Tak hanya itu, E-Resources Class juga menyediakan <em>Request System<\/em>. Pada sistem ini nantinya peserta bisa mengikuti E-Resources Class selain jadwal yang ditentukan. &quot;Syarat bagi pendaftar <em>Request<\/em>&nbsp;<em>System<\/em> dibatasi untuk lima orang pendaftar setiap sesinya,&quot;ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Aktivitas pencarian sumber rujukan yang telah dilanggan ITS ini dapat diakses di dalam maupun luar kampus. Sehingga, Edy berharap sivitas academica bisa lebih memanfaatkan seluruh referensi yang telah disediakan secara cuma-cuma. &quot;Juga jangan sampai pihak ITS mengerjakan penelitian, tugas dan sebagainya mengambil rujukan dari sumber yang kurang terpercaya,&quot; harapnya mengakhiri perbincangan dengan ITS Online.
