Mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Mesin, Teknik Elektro, dan Teknik Informatika tersebut terhimpun dalam satu tim untuk berjuang bersama dan berakhir puas mengantongi juara dua.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&quot;Awalnya kami mengirim esay kemudian menyerahkannya ke panitia. Judul kami ambil adalah Capsule Bamboo Wall,&quot; ujar Auli, mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Mesin. Setelah lolos seleksi esay, ketiganya kemudian mengikuti babak final di ITB untuk presentasi dan pembuatan purwa-rupa.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Cabawa sendiri merupakan inovasi teknologi &nbsp;peredam bising yang terbuat dari pemanfaatan pohon bambu. &quot;Perbedaan antara produk kami dengan yang lain terletak pada desainnya yaitu berbentuk kapsul mengitari runway bandara,&quot; lanjut Auli.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Diakui oleh Bariq, salah satu anggota, ide pembuatan Cabawa ini mulanya terpilih karena tim sengaja mengangkat sub tema <em>Dampak Sosial Ekonomi dan Solusi Kawasan Bandara<\/em>. Tercetuslah ide pembuatan peredam bising dengan bahan bambu yang mereka peroleh dari jurnal ilmiah.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Walaupun lomba berlangsung saat hari libur, Auli, Bariq, dan Aldi tetap mengalami kesulitan karena bersamaan dengan kegiatan Ini Lho ITS dan Roadshow. &quot;Persiapan lombanya sekitar dua minggu namun hanya dikerjakan saat malam hari,&quot; ucap Auli.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Bagi Auli, tantangan yang cukup sulit dalam lomba ini adalah jarak antara pembuatan purwa-rupa dengan final yang hanya dua hari. &quot;Apalagi pesaing kami dari kampus-kampus top di Indonesia,&quot; Ungkap Bariq. Uniknya, hanya tim ITS yang semua anggotanya merupakan mahasiswa baru.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Berasal dari departemen yang berbeda, ternyata ketiganya berasal dari SMA yang sama. &quot;Kami memang nggak ingin bermain di satu jurusan. Kalau dari berbagai jurusan, kami bisa lihat dari prespektif yang berbeda-beda,&quot; jelas Auli.
