Hal tersebut dikarenakan belum adanya pengelolaan mengenai masalah sempadan pantai, penebangan mangrove dan perusakan terumbu karang. &quot;Dari hasil <em>tracking<\/em> pantai tersebut, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut ,&quot; ujarnya.<\/div>\n<p>Dalam risetnya, Marita menentukan wilayah untuk diamati berdasarkan kerusakan fisik di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Tuban &nbsp;yang terkena dampak <em>SLR<\/em>. Wilayahnya tersebut dibagi menjadi wilayah makro dan mikro. Wilayah makro terdiri dari lima kecamatan pantai di Kabupaten Tuban. Sedangkan, wilayah mikro adalah daerah 300 meter dari garis pantai.<\/p>\n<p>Riset Marita dimulai dengan mengolah data pasang surut menggunakan metode <em>least square<\/em>.Selanjutnya, dengan pemodelan MAGICC (<em>Model for the Assesment of Greenhouse-gas Induced Climate Change<\/em>) dan terakhir dilakukan validasi output. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menentukan skenario iklim di wilayah Tuban, sehingga <em>SLR<\/em> dapat diprediksi. &quot;Selain itu, dilakukan pula penelitian analisa kerugian ekonomi dampak <em>SLR<\/em>,&quot; pungkasnya. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Dengan adanya riset ini, tentu &nbsp;masyarakat &nbsp;dapat melakukan mitigasi dan antisipasi. &quot;Untuk selanjutnya akan disosialisasikan ke daerah yang terkena dampak <em>SLR<\/em>,&quot; imbuh Marita pada ITS Online.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Di akhir sidang, Marita dipromosikan sebagai doktor dengan predikat sangat memuaskan.
