Ia membawakan tema yang berkaitan mengenai <em>Kemandirian dan Globalisasi<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Menurut Melani, terpilihnya Sri Mulyani untuk membawakan orasi ilmiah karena sepak terjangnya dalam dunia Internasional. Dalam kesempatan kali ini, Sri Mulyani juga mendapatkan penghargaan 10 Nopember yang secara langsung diberikan oleh Rektor ITS.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&quot;Pengelolaan keuangan secara mandiri yang akan diterapkan di ITS menuju PTN- BH tentu menjadi hal yang menarik ITS untuk mengundang beliau. Apalagi dengan menjadi PTN-BH, ITS bisa membuka program studi atau jurusan terbaru lebih mandiri,&quot; ujar Melani.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Rektor ITS Prof Ir Joni Hermana MSc Es PhD, dalam sambutannya memaparkan laporan tahunan mengenai implementasi Program Kerja Rektor tahun 2016. Menurutnya, kali ini terdapat keunikan dimana terjadi dua fokusan secara bersamaan, yakni Program Kerja Rektor berbasis ITS PTN-Badan Layanan Umum (BLU) dan Program menuju ITS PTN-BH yang mulai aktif Januari 2017 nanti.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&quot;Semoga hal-hal yang telah diimplementasikan dalam tahun 2016 dapat bermanfaat dan meski banyak program yang belum tuntas semoga dapat ditingkatkan pada periode tahun berikutnya,&quot; ujar Joni.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Seementara itu, prosesi sidang terbuka Dies Natalis kali ini dilanjutkan dengan penekanan tombol <em>countdown<\/em> menuju ITS PTN-BH oleh Rektor ITS yang didampingi oleh Ketua MWA dan Senat Akademik.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Hamzah Fansuri SSi MSi PhD, Ketua Panitia Dies Natalies ITS-56 mengatakan, setelah penekanan tombol <em>countdown<\/em> yang menandakan ITS telah menuju PTN-BH tersebut, papan <em>countdown<\/em> itu selanjutnya akan diletakkan di gedung Rektorat ITS.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mengenai prosesi Dies Natalis kali ini, Hamzah menjelaskan bahwa upacara sidang terbuka kali ini adalah siding istimewa terakhir ITS sebagai PTN-BLU. &quot;Tentunya ini harus disambut dengan penuh syukur dan dapat dimeriahkan oleh seluruh civitas academica ITS,&quot; ujar Hamzah.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Selain itu, kemeriahan Dies Natalis ITS 56 juga turut bertambah dengan dilepasnya kembali perjalanan GESITS untuk melanjutkan perjalanannya ke Pulau Bali. &quot;Produk unggulan ITS-Garasindo tersebut akan dilepas oleh Direktorat Jenderal Inovasi Kemenristekdikti,&quot; ungkapnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tak hanya Gesits, penyerahan beasiswa dari Yayasan Beasiswa Alumni ITS (YBAI) ITS senilai 1 Miliar diberikan secara simbolis kepada Rektor ITS. Penyerahan itu turut disaksikan oleh Ketua PP IKA ITS. Selain itu, penandatangan nota kesepahaman kerjasama antara ITS dan PT Tjiwi Kimia serta PT Bank CIMB Niaga juga dilangsungkan bersamaan.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&quot;Beasiswa dari YBAI menandakan bahwa alumni ITS siap mendukung ITS menuju PTN-BH. Konsumsi peserta yang hadir di Graha juga akan dimeriahkan oleh produk perdana Air Minum ITS yang akan mulai diproduksi,&quot; terang dosen Departemen Kimia ITS tersebut.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Hamzah berharap, sidang terbuka atau orasi ilmiah yang digelar menjadi tanda kebangkitan ITS menuju PTN-BH. Dimana hal ini sesuai dengan rencana strategis ITS disamping berkontribusi nasional dan <em>World Class University<\/em>.
