Hal ini dibenarkan oleh Rektor ITS, Prof Ir Joni Hermana MSc ES PhD. Namun, hal ini baru akan direalisasikan pada 2017 mendatang. &quot;Yang pasti sampai Maret 2017 nanti masih berstatus lima fakultas walaupun sudah ada delapan dekan,&quot; tutur Joni.<\/p>\n<p>Terkait levelling jabatan, Joni mengatakan beberapa biro tetap<br \/>\ndipertahankan. Ia mengaku tak ingin terlalu banyak perubahan.<br \/>\n&quot;Memanfaatkan yang sudah ada dulu,&quot; ucapnya. Dapat dikatakan, kebutuhan<br \/>\nSDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) lebih fleksibel sesuai otonomi di ITS.<br \/>\nSehingga pegawai tidak harus PNS.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai PTNBH, ITS memiliki<br \/>\nkaryawan PNS (Pegawai Negeri Sipil) dan non PNS. Pihaknya berencana, non<br \/>\n PNS nantinya bisa diperlakukan sama dengan PNS dan digaji sesuai dengan<br \/>\n profesinya. &quot;<em>Levelling <\/em>kan hanya untuk menyetarakan satu jabatan dengan jabatan lain. Bukan masalah PNS atau non PNS,&quot; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Sampai 2016 habis ini, kegiatan fakultas dan organisasi penunjang masih berjalan seperti biasa. Saat ini konsentrasi menyusun Organisasi Tata Kerja (OTK),&quot; tegas Professor Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Fakultas-fakultas baru tersebut rencananya akan mulai efektif pada Januari mendatang. &quot;Tapi wisuda Maret 2017 kemungkinan masih dengan lima dekan. Baru September 2017 oleh delapan dekan fakultas,&quot; terang Rektor ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Diakuinya bahwa dari pihak Menristekdikti sudah menyampaikan kalau ITS telah menjadi PTNBH. Sehingga ITS memiliki hak otonomi untuk menetapkan kebijakannya. Penentuan nama fakultas ditentukan oleh Senat Akademik (SA). &quot;Peran dari SA memberi arahan, kita yang menentukan,&quot; ungkap bapak tiga anak tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Fakultas distrukturisasi karena beberapa hal. Antara lain peraturan pemerintah yang baru, berkaitan dengan pengelompokan rumpun ilmu. Yaitu bahwa penempatan jurusan-jurusan dalam satu fakultas harus mempunyai rumpun keilmuan yang sama. Sementara di beberapa fakutas saat ini masih ada jurusan-jurusan yang berumpun ilmu berbeda.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, dirinya juga mengatakan kalau ada fakultas yang saat ini kelebihan beban mahasiswanya, sehingga tidak seimbang dengan fakultas lain. Yaitu Fakultas Teknik Industri (FTI) dengan jumlah mencapai sekitar 7600 dibanding fakultas lain yang hanya sekitar 3000 mahasiswa.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Karena ITS bercita-cita menjadi <em>Research University<\/em>, maka harus memisahkan akademik dari vokasi. Maksudnya pendidikan diploma harus dipisahkan dari pendidikan S1,&quot; tutupnya.
