Dikenal sebagai kota terbesar kedua di Indonesia, Surabaya memiliki potensi besar dalam  pengembangan startup digital.<\/em> Ditambah lagi, lokasi strategis sebagai persinggahan kapal dagang, menjadikan Surabaya sebagai pusat perdagangan terbesar di Indonesia. Hal inilah yang mendorong Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informasi (Kemkominfo) bersama dengan KIBAR (perusahaan pembangun ekosistim teknologi, red) kembali mengadakan penyaringan di kota Surabaya. <\/div>\n

Acara tersebut turut menghadirkan sejumlah pelaku startup<\/em> yang telah sukses menjalankan bisnis di tanah air. Terdapat Yohan Totting, inisiator Fowab, Calvin Kizana, CEO PicMix, Gibran Huzzaifah, CEO eFishery, Rama Notowidigdi COP Go-Jek, Vikra Ijas, CMO Kitabisa.com, serta Sanny Gadaffi CEO 8Villages. <\/div>\n

Dikatakan Yohan, untuk mengembangkan sebuah ide awal perlu adanya kreativitas dan pengembangan ide unik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar. Ide-ide unik ini dapat muncul kapan dan dimana saja. Namun, itu semua belum tentu baru dan dapat bersaing dengan ide lain. "Coba ketik ide tersebut di google<\/em>. Mungkin anda akan menemukan ribuan ide serupa yang telah diwujudkan di beberapa daerah," tuturnya. <\/div>\n

Ia mengaku, untuk mendapatkan ide yang betul betul cemerlang, ia banyak melakukan travelling dan menggali kekayaan daerah yang ia kunjungi. Pria yang bekerja sebagai google developer expert <\/em>ini suka bertukar pikiran dengan sesama google developer expert <\/em>dari negara lain untuk menyelesaikan masalah lokal. Selain itu, dia juga banyak berinteraksi dengan penduduk lokalnya. "Menggali ide dari berbagai perspektif akan membuat anda mudah untuk melahirkan suatu solusi yang lebih efektif menyelesaikan sebuah masalah," tuturnya. <\/div>\n

Di samping memiliki ide cemerlang, sebuah startup<\/em> juga akan sukses dengan adanya kolaborasi dalam membuat inovasi. Seperti yang dijelaskan oleh Aria Rajasa, CEO Tees.co.id, salah satu cara mendapatkan pengakuan public adalah bekerjasama dengan perusahaan yang telah lama terkenal. "Pengalaman saya kerjasama dengan Disney membuat tawaran kerjasama saya diterima oleh Pokemon Go<\/em>," tutur pria misfits yang pernah memenangkan International Young Creative Entrepreneur (IYCE)<\/em> itu. <\/div>\n

Hal senada turut dilontarkan oleh Sanny Gadaffi. Ia mengaku selalu konsisten dalam membangun sebuah kerjasama. Prinsip berkolaborasi telah ia jadikan sebagai gaya hidup sehari hari. "Saat ini ekosistem startup<\/em> telah terbentuk, pemerintah juga mendukung dengan adanya coworking space<\/em>. Tinggal bagaimana kita mengolahnya," ungkapnya. <\/div>\n

Ditambahkan Rizky Kurniawan, publik relation 1000 startup digital<\/em>, perkembangan startup <\/em>Indonesia tergolong seksi karena peluang tersedia disetiap daerah. Melalui 1000 Startup Digital, <\/em>ia berharap Indonesia dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan lokal sekaligus menaikkan ekonomi masyarakat melalui dibukanya lapangan kerja baru. <\/div>\n

Ia juga menerangkan, dalam 1000 startup digital<\/em>, para entrepreneur muda akan digodok lewat beberapa program. Seperti igniton, workshop, hackathon, bootcamp, <\/em>dan incubation<\/em>.
