Menurutnya, masyarakat perlu disadarkan akan perkembangan teknologi yang kini berkembang pesat di sekitarnya. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Untuk itu, tahun ini kami lebih fokus pada kegiatan pameran dan mengusung tagline Feel the Atmposphere of Technology, \u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujarnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Delapan rangkaian acara pun dirancang guna mendukung tema tersebut. Mulai dari lomba fotografi bertajuk Merchforce, lomba modifikasi mobil bertajuk Autofest, hingga lomba olahraga otomotif reli. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Tahun ini, kami bekerjasama langsung dengan Ikatan Motor Indonesia untuk menggelar kejuaran daerah Mesin Rally tingkat Jawa Timur,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d jelas mahasiswa yang kerap disapa Rizqu ini.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Uniknya, Mesin Music Club (MMC) turut andil dengan menyelenggarakan Engine Brake, Music Clinic, dan Festival Band. Berbagai penampilan musik dan <em>coaching clinic<\/em> pun berhasil menyuguhkan hiburan sekaligus memperkaya ilmu musik para penontonnya. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ini sekaligus pembuktian bahwa mahasiswa Teknik Mesin tak hanya mampu merakit mesin, tapi juga bisa punya keahlian lain termasuk di bidang musik,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ungkap Rizqu.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Setelah beberapa rangkaian acara sukses diselenggarakan, acara penutupan pun digelar di parkiran timur Delta Plaza Surabaya, Minggu (17\/4). Acara yang dibuka untuk umum tersebut memamerkan puluhan mobil karya peserta Autofest. Foto-foto terbaik karya peserta Merchforce dengan tema Technology in Humanism turut menghiasi area pameran. Selain itu, tak ingin semata-mata menghilangkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, Mechanical City 2016 juga menyediakan servis motor gratis yang dapat dinikmati oleh masyarakat umum.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Terakhir, Rizqu mengungkapkan salah satu hal baru pada gelaran tahun ini adalah Interactive Technology Exhibition (ITE). ITE memamerkan beberapa teknologi interaktif yang dapat dinikmati masyarakat maupun diaplikasikan di dunia industri. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Harapannya, masyarakat menjadi peka dengan perkembangan teknologi di sekitarnya dan lebih mengenal Teknik Mesin ITS melalui acara ini,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d pungkasnya.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mechanical City memasuki tahun ke empat penyelenggaraannya.
