Pertama, melalui pemberlakuan kegiatan 3R (<em>Reuse, Reduce, Recycle<\/em>), dimana warga secara bebarengan memanfaatkan barang bekas menjadi barang yang dapat digunakan kembali. &quot;Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membudayakan warga dalam kesadaran lingkungan sekaligus mengurangi sampah di daerah tersebut,&quot; ujar Oba, sapaan akrabnya.<\/p>\n<p>Nyatanya, hal tersebut pun berdampak pada gang Lebak Rejo yang terlihat lebih bersih daripada sebelumnya. Lebih lanjut, hasil pemanfaatan barang bekas itu pun digunakan untuk media <em>vertical planting<\/em>, metode penanaman tumbuhan secara ke atas. Seperti botol bekas yang dimanfaatkan menjadi pot tanaman, kayu bekas yag diubah menjadi rak-rak <em>vertical pelanting<\/em> atau paralon bekas yang dijadikan alat penanaman hidroponik.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;<em>Vertical planting<\/em> ini sangat cocok untuk lahan yang sempit, karena menananmnya secara ke atas di tembok-tembok warga Lebak Rejo sehingga tidak memakan banyak tempat,&quot; ucap Oba.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, kampung Lebak Rejo pun semakin terlihat cantik dengan mural karya anak-anak setempat. Sepanjang dinding gang tersebut dihiasi seni grafiti mengenai lingkungan hidup. &quot;Ini sebagai awareness bagi warga untuk menjaga lingkungan. Agar mereka semakin ingat dengan banyaknya tulisan tentang lingkungan,&quot; lanjut mahasiswa asal Padang ini.<\/p>\n<p>Pihaknya menyadari warga setempat masih belum berpengalaman mengenai penghijauan, sehingga dibentuklah kader lingkungan yang nantinya dapat mengontrol keberlanjutan program dan menjadi penggerak warga dalam merawat tanaman. &quot;Jadi, warga lebih punya inisiatif dalam memajukan kampungnya tanpa harus menunggu dari kita,&quot; terangnya.<\/p>\n<p>Di akhir, Oba berharap apa yang telah dilakukan dapat memberikan pengaruh yang berarti bagi kemajuan warga. &quot;Semoga terjadi peningkatan kualitas warga terhadap kebesihan lingkungan dan memberikan contoh mengenai kampung yang bersih dan indah,&quot; pungkasnya.
