Dengan hanya menggunakan kain sarung karena baru saja salat gerhana, Rektor ITS tampak bersemangat memainkan <em>remote control<\/em> memandu robot menggiring bola.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Seru sekali bermain robot. &nbsp;Rasanya seperti bertanding sungguhan,&quot; ujar Tegar dengan senyum sumringah serta tatapan yang tak lepas dari robotnya.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak hanya Tegar, ratusan anak yatim lainnya turut serta menikmati keseruan bermain dan mengenal robot &nbsp;dalam acara &nbsp;yang diprakarsai oleh Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Robotika ITS dan Yayasan Yatim Mandiri Surabaya. Acara tersebut dilaksanakan guna memberi pengetahuan robotika kepada anak &#8211; anak sejak jenjang SD.<\/p>\n<p>Mengenalkan robotika pada anak itu penting. Karena lewat pengenalan robot, mereka akanterinspirasi untuk menciptakan sesuatu yang berguna, tidak terkecuali anak yatim&quot; ujar Joni. <\/p>\n<p>Saat itu, Joni juga bercerita mengenai pengalaman pribadinya. &quot;Kita sama &#8211; sama anak yatim. Saya menjadi anak yatim sejak SMA dan tergolong anak yang biasa &#8211; biasa saja. Begitu juga dengan mantan presiden Soeharto yang juga anak yatim namun tetap gigih berusaha dan berdoa sehingga bisa menjadi pemimpin,&quot; tukasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Guru besar Jurusan Teknik Lingkungan itu menegaskan bahwa anak &#8211; anak harus berani bermimpi dan meraih cita-cita mereka .&quot;Kunci sukses hanya tiga, pertama bermimpilah setinggi &#8211; tingginya, kedua berusaha dan yang ketiga paling penting adalah berdoa&quot; ujar Joni.<\/p>\n<p>Di akhir wejangannya, Joni mengatakan bahwa ia dan pihak ITS akan mendukung penuh anak yatim yang berkompetensi untuk mengenyam bangku kuliah di ITS. &quot;Kami menerima semua pendaftar dari semua kalangan sekalipun anak yatim, asalkan lolos kualifikasi masuk ITS. Ada program bidik misi yang siap menangani biaya perkuliahan mereka,&quot; tutupnya.
