Ini sekaligus sebagai pertanda pembukaan kegiatan Pimits (Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa ITS)  ke-6 akan segera dimulai. Dalam even ini seluruh mahasiswa ITS dari berbagi jurusan berusaha untuk memerkan berbagai teknologi yang dimiliki<\/p>\n<p>Menurut, Rektor ITS, Dr.Mohammad Nuh, DEA, pada kesempatan inilah hakekat mahasiswa ITS diuji, baik itu kemampuan dan manajemennya. Selama ini mahasiswa ITS selalu menempati ranting 3 terbesar diantara perguruan tinggi lainnya.&quot;Prestasi ini tidak lain karena adanya kegiatan-kegiatan seperti ini,&quot;jelasnya saat memberikan sambutan dalam pembukaan Pimits ke-6.<\/p>\n<p>Berkaitan dengan itu, Pak Nuh, biasanya di panggil, mempunyai pandangan bahwa mahasiswa ITS itu harus bisa di percaya. &quot;Bangsa Indonesia saat ini memerlukan orang-orang yang bisa dipercaya,&quot;tuturnya. Karena saat ini banyak para pemimpin yang telah melakukan berbagai kebohongan.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk itu, tambahnya, para mahasiswa hendaknya memiliki landasan moral; tegas dan jujur, kemampuan teknis, kemampuan berkomunikasi, dan belajar berkomitmen. &quot;Keempat sikap ini harus menjadi pedoman bagi semua mahasiswa ITS. Agar nantinya mereka menjadi pemimpin yang baik,&quot;tegasnya<\/p>\n<p>Lantas, langkah apa untuk menuju kesana ? pendekatan antidikotomi. &quot;Sebenarnya tidak ada perbedaan antara dosen dan mahasiswa, jadi ini akan menjadikan proses belajar dan mengajar akan lebih mudah,&quot;ujar singkat.<\/p>\n<p>Pada kesempatan ini, hadir  Prof.Dr.Ir I Gusti Puru Raka (Pembantu Rektor II), Ir.H. Soemartojo (Pembantu Rektor III), Ir. Daniel M.Rosyid, Ph.D (Pembantu Rektor IV), Ir.Jaelani (Ketua IKA ITS) dan tamu undangan lainnya. Mereka semuanya mengunjungi stand pameran yang dirancang beraneka ragam.<\/p>\n<p>Selama melihat stand pameran Pak nuh sempat juga menayakan beberapa hal. &quot;Iki alat opo, rek ? (Ini alat apa,ya?),&quot; tanya dalam bahasa surabaya pada stand mahasiswa komputer kontrol sambil menunjuk sebuah simulasi mesin pengangkut peti kemas.(rom)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pembukaan Pimits ke-6 oleh Rektor ITS berlangsung dengan meriah.
