Sedangkan mental merupakan cara atau kemampuan berpikir. Sehingga arti dari revolusi mental adalah perubahan cepat seseorang dalam berpikir, bertindak, dan bekerja.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tercatat, hal ini pertama kali diperkenalkan di Indonesia lewat mendiang Presiden Soekarno. Ali yang merupakan Guru besar di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Ampel ini kemudian mencontohkan Sumpah Pemuda dan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional sebagai bentuk revolusi mental yang dilakukan oleh pemuda saat itu.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Berkaitan dengan pemuda, ia menambahkan peran pemuda dalam kemajuan suatu negara sangatlah besar. Namun, hanya jenis pemuda tertentu yang memiliki andil dalam revolusi. &quot;Pemuda bermental bajalah yang punya mental revolusi,&quot; tegas pria kelahiran Tulungagung ini.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Selain itu, menyoal hubungan mental sebagai penggerak perbuatan manusia, ia mengutip teori Sigmund Freud terkait kepribadian asli manusia. Dalam teori tersebut dijelaskan bahwa sifat asli manusia adalah jahat dan serakah. &quot;Teori ini secara tak langsung menyamakan kita dengan hewan,&quot; ujar Ali.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Padahal, lanjutnya, di dalam Al-Quran surat At-Tin telah dituliskan bahwa manusia diciptakan Allah dalam bentuk yang sebaik-baiknya. Anggota DPR RI periode 2009-2014 tersebut juga mengatakan dalam hal ini, bentuk yang dimaksud bukanlah wujud fisik, melainkan akal. &quot;Manusia itu fitrahnya adalah berbuat baik. Jelas beda dengan hewan,&quot; tambahnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tak hanya itu, ia kemudian menjelaskan pembentukan mental yang baik dalam islam secara ringkas telah tersampaikan melalui syair <em>Tombo Ati<\/em>. Yaitu dengan membaca serta memahami Al-Quran, mendirikan sholat malam, berteman dengan orang sholeh, berpuasa, dan yang terakhir melaksanakan dzikir malam.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ali menyampaikan dengan mengimplementasikan lima hal tersebut, hati manusia akan lebih mantap dalam menjalani segala permasalahan hidup, termasuk mengatasi urusan kuliah. &quot;Karena itu, saat beribadah di akhir malam, menangislah dalam doamu agar segera dikabulkan,&quot; pungkasnya kepada 2500 mahasiswa yang hadir.
