Karena biayanya yang gratis dan menyediakan tes yang bagus maka pesertanya pun dibatasi sebanyak 300 kuota saja.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Nola Vila Violita selaku Ketua Pelaksana kegiatan mengungkapkan bahwa sebenarnya panitia tidak ingin membatasi kuota peserta. Tetapi, karena kapasitas ruangan yang maksimal menampung 200 orang itu yang mengakibatkan dibatasinya jumlah peserta. Ia menjelaskan, bahwa acara ini dibagi menjadi dua <em>batch <\/em>(sesi), dimana masing-masing <em>batch <\/em>sejumlah 150 orang. Untuk <em>batch <\/em>pertama, diadakan pukul 14.30-15.30. Dilanjutkan dengan <em>batch<\/em> ke dua pukul 16.00-17.00.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mahasiswi jurusan Teknik Industri 2012 ini menambahkan bahwa tes ini merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha mendukung internasionalisasi ITS dari IO. &quot;Acara ini baru ada sejak dua tahun lalu, kali ini sengaja kami adakan bertepatan dengan Hari Pahlawan,&quot; jelasnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ditanya soal keuntungan mengikuti acara ini, Nola mengungkapkan bahwa dalam acara ini, peserta bisa mengukur kemampuannya Bahasa Inggrisnya tanpa mengeluarkan biaya. Jika nilai yang diperoleh masih kurang, bisa memperbaikinya kembali. &quot;Nilai yang diperoleh bisa dikonversikan ke standar nilai <em>Common European Framework of Reference<\/em> (CEFR) untuk <em>benchmark <\/em>ke skor IELTS dan TOEFL iBT,&quot; jelasnya seraya menjelaskan jika ada peserta dengan nilai terbaik maka akan memperoleh <em>free course<\/em>&nbsp;satu level dari TBI Surabaya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Kepada ITS Online, wanita berhijab ini mengungkapkan bahwa animo mahasiswa ITS terhadap acara ini sangat luar biasa. &quot;Dalam waktu tiga jam saja, sudah ada 585 orang yang daftar dari 300 kuota yang disediakan,&quot; ujarnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ia pun berharap agar kegiatan yang merupakan rangkaian acara <em>ITS International Insight Expo 2015 <\/em>ini bisa mengingatkan kembali&nbsp;mahasiswa ITS agar&nbsp;<em>aware <\/em>terhadap globalisasi dan <em>open minded<\/em>&nbsp;internasionalisasi. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Selain itu, dengan adanya acara semacam ini maka turut membuka kesempatan mahasiswa ITS bisa memperoleh beasiswa ke luar negeri, khususnya dengan para&nbsp;<em>partnership <\/em>kegiatan, seperti TBI, Kelt, Taiwan Education Center, Sun Education, Coventry University, Kumamoto University, serta AusEd UniEd Group (AUG).
