Dalam acara FSLDKD ke-7 Minggu (8\/11) yang digelar di Universitas Wijaya Kusuma, Surabaya, posisi ITS, yang diwakili JMMI, digantikan oleh Universitas Airlangga (Unair). Unair akan memimpin Puskomda Surabaya Raya untuk dua tahun ke depan hingga 2017.<\/p>\n

Menyinggung persiapan JMMI menyambut FSLDKD dua tahun mendatang, Amron Basuki, Ketua Umum JMMI mengaku belum mempersiapkannya dengan matang. "Belum, karena baru beberapa hari yang lalu diamanahi sebagai tuan rumah," ujarnya. Namun, Amron mengaku, ia telah merancang beberapa hal yang diperlukan. Mulai dari Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), dana, konsep, serta membangun jaringan.<\/p>\n

Terpilihnya ITS sebagai tuan rumah FSLDKD ke-8, tidak terlepas dari prestasi yang telah ditorehkan JMMI selama masa kepengurusannya menjadi Ketua Puskomda. Di antara prestai yang diraih adalah peningkatan jumlah Lembaga Dakwah Kampus (LDK) yang semula hanya 30, kini menjadi menjadi 51.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, saat menjabat Ketua Puskomda, Amron mengaku, JMMI ITS menjadi yang paling responsif dan aktif dari seluruh FSLDK di Indonesia. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan ditunjuknya JMMI ITS sebagai ketua Badan Khusus (BK) Peduli. ”Sehingga, kita banyak melakukan aksi kemanusiaan dan mengangkat isu kemasyarakatan, seperti perempuan, pendidikan, hingga penggalangan dana,” aku mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Fisika itu.
