Bidang energi contohnya, yang semakin hari semakin tak tertata penggunaannya. Ketahanan energi pun menjadi tolak ukur kemajuan bangsa dalam kemandirian energinya. Seperti aspek 4A (<em>Availability, Accessibility, Acceptability, <\/em>dan <em>Affordability<\/em>) yang digunakan dalam merumuskan indikator ketahanan energi tersebut. &quot;Hal ini yang akan kita bahas pada kultam ini,&quot; ungkap&nbsp;Wimbo Widjokongko, pembicara.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Wibmo, untuk mencapai ketahanan energi nasional yang baik, Indonesia perlu berbenah di seluruh bidangnya. Bidang ekonomi hingga gaya hidup masyarakat mempengaruhi penggunaan energi Indonesia. Tak hanya itu, anggaran belanja negara pun dihabiskan hanya untuk subsidi bbm yang tak tepat sasaran. &quot;Dahulu, Indonesia itu exportir minyak bumi, karena kebutuhan BBM yang miningkat, sejak 2004 Indonesia menjadi importer,&quot; ungkap pria asal Jember ini.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BBM merupakan energi terbesar yang dikonsumsi negara ini. Pada 2012, survei menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan BBM mencapai 1,25 juta barel. Sedangkan produksi nasional Indonesia hanya berkisar antara 800 ribu barel. &quot;Jika kita tidak menemukan sumur minyak baru, atau beralih ke energi terbarukan, maka dalam sepuluh tahun cadangan minyak Indonesia akan habis,&quot; imbuhnya.<\/p>\n<p>Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, harus ada beberapa energi baru yang dikembangkan. Hal pertama yang harus dilakukan pemerintah adalah menggeser pola pikir masyarakat untuk menghemat energi. Menghemat energi saja tentu tidak cukup. Masyarakat harus berpindah ke penggunaan energi terbarukan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, pria yang kesehariaannya bekerja di chevron ini menjelaskan bahwa letak geografis Indonesia yakni berada di <em>Ring of Fire. <\/em>Oleh karena itu Indonesia kaya akan energi panas bumi. &quot;Diperkiran 16,5 MW listrik bisa dihasilkan dari panas bumi negara kita,&quot; jelas Wibmo.<\/p>\n<p>Kemudian, Wibmo menilai bahwa tak cukup sehari dua hari dalam berkampanye mengubah <em>mindset <\/em>masyarakat yang berpola komsumtif tadi. Perlu dukungan serta kerjasama yang berkesinambungan antara pemerintah dan pengelola energi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Menurutnya, kelemahan sektor energi ini adalah masih sedikitnya investor yang ingin berinvestasi di Indonesia. Sebab, rasikonya masih tergolong tinggi, belum lagi pola politisasi pemerintah yang berbeda-beda pada setiap kebijakannya.&nbsp;&quot;Namun saya tetap optimis, bahwa nanti Indonesia akan mencapai ketahanan energi nasional yang baik,&quot; ujarnya sebelum menutup kuliah tamu yang dilaksanakan di Ruang Sidang JTF ITS itu.
