Bekerjasama dengan PMI cabang Mojokerto, kegiatan yang digawangi oleh PDPM-LPPM ITS ini dibantu oleh BEM ITS. Namun, yang mengejutkan adalah ketika para peserta sudah memadati area donor darah sejak sejak satu jam sebelum pembukaan kegiatan yang dilakukan pukul 9.00. Tak ayal, panitia pun mempercepat waktu registrasi dan segera mengarahkan peserta untuk tes kesehatan, sembari menunggu petugas PMI datang.<\/p>\n

Wahyu Idang Wirabudi, penanggung jawab dari Kementerian Sosmas BEM ITS tercengang, ia tak menyangka peserta yang datang melebihi jumlah kantong darah yang tersedia. "Kami sendiri kaget melihat animo mahasiswa yang tak biasa. Sehingga kloter pertama kami hentikan untuk 70 pendaftar, karena kursi terbatas," ungkap mahasiswa yang akrab disapa Idang ini.<\/p>\n

Menurut pantauan ITS Online, peserta yang datang selalu bertambah hingga dua kali lipat pendaftar di kloter pertama. Namun, hal tersebut sangat disayangkan ketika diketahui banyak mahasiswa yang tidak memenuhi syarat untuk donor darah. Ditambah pula dengan  pengakuan para panitia yang melihat mahasiswa banyak yang pingsan setelah donor darah. Kesigapan KSR ITS yang siap sedia di tempat kejadian pun sangat membantu para pendonor saat itu.<\/p>\n

Idang pun menuturkan gelaran yang diadakan pada Dies Natalis kali ini termasuk mewah. Sehingga, mahasiswa yang termotivasi untuk sehat merasa sangat terfasilitasi. "Untuk pendonor pastinya kita berikan konsumsi, ditambah dengan kaos dan cek kesehatan gratis," papar mahasiswa berperawakan tinggi ini. (riz\/man)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
