Nyoman G. Wiryana, Vice President Marketing PT. Telkom, dengan tema &quot;Marketing Communication In Technology&quot;. Menurutnya marketing merupakan ujung tombak dari sebuah perusahan. Jadi sudah sewajarnya kalau itu menjadi tanggungjawab semua bagian.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelumnya, tambah alumni ITS ini, dalam membahas permasalahan marketing kita harus mengetahui isu-isu yang berkembang. Untuk Telkom sendiri, isu yang menjadi perhatian antara lain semakin kuatnya bargaining position pelanggan serta teknologi masih konvergen antara komputer dan telekomunikasi. &quot;Dengan adanya isu-isu seperti ini kita bisa menentukan target yang ingin kita capai nantinya,&quot; tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam bisnis teknologi, proses marketing perlu memperhatikan bahwa teknologi itu bisa cepat berubah, pelanggan umumnya tidak puas dengan purna jual, brand yang terkemuka, berdasarkan rasio, dan tingginya partisipasi antara kedua belah pihak. &quot;Untuk itu, kami berusaha memenuhi keinginan pelanggan  tersebut dengan produk kami yang sekarang jumlahnya sekitar 179 produk,&quot; jelasnya dalam seminar &quot;Manajemen pemasaran dalam Era Krisis&quot; yang diselenggarakan oleh IMA (Indonesia Marketing Association) kemarin (23\/10).<\/p>\n<p>Keseluruhan proses marketing itu pada intinya promosi untuk membentuk  &#8216;brand image&#8217;. Pembentukan itu berdasarkan otak kiri dan otak kanan manusia. Otak kiri yang  lebih rasional dan otak kanan lebih emosional. &quot;Konsep ini yang mendasari kami dalam membuat promosi iklan,&quot; ungkapnya  <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Peran promosi dalam marketing tidak hanya untuk memperkenalkan produk, tapi lebih daripada itu,&quot; lanjutnya. Pergeseran paradigma ini menempatkan promosi sebagai komunikasi antara kedua belah pihak, produk menjadi brand terkenal, dan untuk berkompetisi.<\/p>\n<p>Alhasil perpaduan semua elemen promosi terangkum dalam &quot;Integrated Marketing Telkom&quot;. &quot;Inilah yang menjadi  Telkom mempunyai visi menjadi terdepan di bisnis teknologi,&quot; tegasnya.
