Dalam era modern, teknologi mempengaruhi kehidupan di tiap sektor masyarakat. &quot;Perkembangan teknologi juga mempengaruhi peradaban manusia contohnya gaya hidup <em>gadget<\/em> saat ini,&quot; terang Ikhlasul.<\/p>\n<p>Menilik negara dengan inovasi teknologi terbaik, Ikhlasul menerangkan bahwa Indonesia meski memiliki kekayaan alam, belum memiliki peradaban teknologi yang besar. Sepuluh besar negara yang memiliki inovasi teknologi terbaik adalah Finlandia, Jepang, Amerika Serikat, Israel, Swedia, Swiss, Denmark, Korea, Jerman, dan Singapura. <\/p>\n<p>Survey teknologi masa depan yang dilakukan oleh IEET pada tahun 2011 menunjukkan bahwa salah satu teknologi yang akan memberikan pengaruh besar hingga tahun 2020 adalah nanoteknologi. Nanoteknologi merupakan multidisiplin yang membutuhkan ilmu sains dasar seperti fisika, biologi, kimia, dan sebagainya untuk memahaminya. &quot;Nanoteknologi merupakan pendekatan pada ukuran nanometer,&quot; jelas Ikhlasul.<\/p>\n<p>Perkembangan nanoteknologi sangat mudah ditemukan dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Seperti penggunaan nanopartikel sebagai katalis, polimer biokompatibel dalam lensa buatan, penggunaan kamera digital, rangka buatan, layar LED, pembuatan <em>handphone<\/em>, kosmetik, <em>vitamin spray<\/em>, bahkan dalam pembuatan beberapa jenis tekstil.<\/p>\n<p>Dikatakan Ikhlasul, revolusi industri juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan nanoteknologi. Beberapa peluang yang ditawarkan oleh&nbsp; perkembangan nanoteknologi adalah keinginan manusia untuk melawan infeksi, memberikan ribuan variasi warna, dan mempercantik penampilan. Selain itu, juga dapat memenuhi komunikasi konsumer, meningkatkan kesehatan, serta meningkatkan kebersihan. &quot;Sedangkan tantangan yangharus dihadapi adalah masalah kemiskinan, korupsi, penegakan hukum, pendidikan, disintegrasi bangsa, produktivitas rendah, kerusakan lingkungan,&quot; ungkapnya. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dengan melihat perkembangan perekonomian jangka panjang, Indonesia dapat menjadi negara dengan pendapatan tinggi pada tahun 2045.&nbsp; Selain itu Indonesia memiliki kesempatan celah sempit pada bonus demografi pada tahun 2030. Celah sempit ini dipengaruhi oleh rasio ketergantungan karena meningkatnya&nbsp; proporsi penduduk lansia. <\/p>\n<p>Penurunan proporsi penduduk muda mengurangi besarnya biaya investasi untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan sehingga sumber daya dapat dialihkan untuk memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penigkatan&nbsp; kesejahteraan&nbsp; keluarga. <\/p>\n<p>Untuk mengejar peluang itu, sangat memungkinkan bagi perkembangan nanoteknologi&nbsp; untuk memegang andil dalam kemajuan Indonesia, dan mahasiswa perlu berkembang cepat untuk meraih peluang tersebut. &quot;Yang paling penting dalam mengejar peluang ini adalah menjadi <em>fast learner <\/em>dan <em>team player<\/em>,&quot; pungkas Ikhlasul.
