Proses pembangunannya pun dikerjakan secara mandiri oleh tim Musyanif, dibantu pula oleh beberapa alumni Jurusan Teknik Sipil ITS tahun 1974 dalam tahap perancangannya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Acara peletakan batu pertama telah dilakukan pada Juni lalu. Namun, menurut Bambang Prianggono, koordinator teknis lapangan, proses pengurukan dan pemancangan baru dimulai pada bulan September. &quot;Jadi, proses pembangunan sebenarnya &nbsp;baru dimulai pada 12 November dan ditargetkan selesai dalam waktu 18 bulan, &quot; ujar Bambang.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Setelah pembuatan pondasi dan <em>sloof<\/em>, saat ini proses pembangunan telah memasuki tahap pemasangan tiang-tiang kolom dan dikerjakan oleh 40 orang pekerja. Rencananya, jumlah pekerja akan terus bertambah hingga 150 orang saat pembangunan sudah berjalan 30 persen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Lebih lanjut, Bambang juga menjelaskan fasilitas gedung yang terletak di belakang Gedung I tersebut. Dengan luas bangunan 6600 meter persegi, gedung ini akan memiliki <em>hall<\/em>, <em>lobby<\/em>, dapur bersama, dua toko, dua ruang fotokopi, 330 unit kamar tidur, dan 96 kamar mandi. &quot;Kamar tidurnya seluas 3,35 x 4,5 meter, tapi belum ada rencana akan dihuni berapa orang,&quot; ungkap Bambang.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Diakui Bambang, pihak ITS sangat membantu selama proses pembangunan. Selain adanya pengawasan dan pendampingan oleh Pusat Implementasi Master Plan ITS (PIMPITS), dukungan juga terlihat dari fasilitas yang diberikan, di antaranya akses jalan, listrik, dan kantor proyek. Terakhir, Bambang juga menuturkan bahwa hambatan terbesar selama ini adalah cuaca yang tidak menentu. Pun demikian, Ia berharap hal tersebut tidak mengganggu target penyelesaian gedung asrama blok kesebelas ini.
