Acara yang dibuka dengan permainan gamelan dari tim mahasiswa Geomatika ITS ini berlangsung sangat meriah. Nampak semua anggota aktif yang tergabung dalam organisasi ini hadir.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Okta Ferriska Ketua Panitia, acara ini digelar sebagai ajang pemilihan Sekretaris Jendral (sekjen) baru untuk kepengurusan periode 2014\/2015. Selain itu dalam acara ini turut pula dibahas mengenai laporan petanggungjawaban (LPJ) dari kepengurusan sebelumnya. &quot;Pelaksanaan munas ini dilakukan untuk membahas mengenai LPJ dan pemilihan sekjen baru,&quot; tuturnya menjelaskan.<\/p>\n<p>Okta menambahkan, dalam munas ini akan diumumkan tiga calon sekjen baru untuk kepengurusan selanjutnya. &quot;Sebanyak tiga calon sekjen baru yang berasal dari ITB, ITENAS, dan UNDIP akan menyampaikan visi dan misinya untuk IMGI kedepannya, Minggu (21\/12),&quot; ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Kepengurusan IMGI sebelumnya dipimpin oleh Mohammad Gemma Perkasa Drakel mahasiswa Geomatika ITS angkatan 2011. Dalam kepengurusannya beberapa proker berhasil dijalankan. &quot;Banyak proker yang sudah berhasil dijalankan oleh kepengurusan sebelumnya, bahkan sebanyak dua institusi baru turut tergabung dalam IMGI,&quot; paparnya.<\/p>\n<p>Saat ini sebanyak sepuluh perguruan tinggi di seluruh Indonesia telah tergabung dalam IMGI. Diantaranya adalah ITS, ITB, ITERA, UNPAK, ITN, ITENAS, UGM S1, UGM D3, POLIBAN, dan UNDIP. Dari sepuluh institusi tersebut, UNPAK dan POLIBAN merupakan dua institusi baru yang tergabung dalam organisasi tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut salah satu peserta munas IMGI Citra Prstika, acara yang digelar tahun ini sangat luar biasa, disamping karena seluruh panitia acara ini adalah mahasiswa Geomatika ITS. Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh seluruh peserta aktif dari seluruh Institusi yang tergabung. &quot;Banyak hal positif yang saya dapatkan dari acara munas tahun ini,&quot; ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Disela wawancara dengan ITS Online pria yang gemar bermain skateboar ini menceritakan awal mula dibentuknya IMGI. &quot;IMGI dibentuk sebagai wadah untuk mengumpulkan seluruh mahasiswa Geodesi di seluruh Indonesia. Dimana disini kita dapat saling bertukar pikiran maupun berdiskusi mengenai hal yang berkaitan dengan Geodesi,&quot; tuturnya. Diakhir, ia berharap agar kedepannya jumlah anggota IMGI semakin bertambah dan banyak karya terutama di bidang Geodesi yang dihasilkan.
